Psalms 91:1He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.Happy is he whose resting-place is in the secret of the Lord, and under the shade of the wings of the Most High;He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.He who is dwelling In the secret place of the Most High, In the shade of the Mighty lodgeth habitually,
Psalms 91:2I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.Who says of the Lord, He is my safe place and my tower of strength: he is my God, in whom is my hope.I say of Jehovah, My refuge and my fortress; my God, I will confide in him.He is saying of Jehovah, `My refuge, and my bulwark, my God, I trust in Him,`
Psalms 91:3Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.He will take you out of the bird-net, and keep you safe from wasting disease.Surely *he* shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, [and] from the destructive pestilence.For He delivereth thee from the snare of a fowler, From a calamitous pestilence.
Psalms 91:4He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.You will be covered by his feathers; under his wings you will be safe: his good faith will be your salvation.He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou find refuge: his truth is a shield and buckler.With His pinion He covereth thee over, And under His wings thou dost trust, A shield and buckler [is] His truth.
Psalms 91:5Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;You will have no fear of the evil things of the night, or of the arrow in flight by day,Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night, for the arrow that flieth by day,Thou art not afraid of fear by night, Of arrow that flieth by day,
Psalms 91:6Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.Or of the disease which takes men in the dark, or of the destruction which makes waste when the sun is high.For the pestilence that walketh in darkness, for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.Of pestilence in thick darkness that walketh, Of destruction that destroyeth at noon,
Psalms 91:7A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.You will see a thousand falling by your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it will not come near you.A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; [but] it shall not come nigh thee.There fall at thy side a thousand, And a myriad at thy right hand, Unto thee it cometh not nigh.
Psalms 91:8Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.Only with your eyes will you see the reward of the evil-doers.Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold, and see the reward of the wicked.But with thine eyes thou lookest, And the reward of the wicked thou seest,
Psalms 91:9Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;Because you have said, I am in the hands of the Lord, the Most High is my safe resting-place;Because *thou* hast made Jehovah, my refuge, the Most High, thy dwelling-place,(For Thou, O Jehovah, [art] my refuge,) The Most High thou madest thy habitation.
Psalms 91:10There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.No evil will come on you, and no disease will come near your tent.There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy tent.Evil happeneth not unto thee, And a plague cometh not near thy tent,
Psalms 91:11For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.For he will give you into the care of his angels to keep you wherever you go.For he shall give his angels charge concerning thee, to keep thee in all thy ways:For His messengers He chargeth for thee, To keep thee in all thy ways,
Psalms 91:12They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.In their hands they will keep you up, so that your foot may not be crushed against a stone.They shall bear thee up in [their] hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.On the hands they bear thee up, Lest thou smite against a stone thy foot.
Psalms 91:13Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.You will put your foot on the lion and the snake; the young lion and the great snake will be crushed under your feet.Thou shalt tread upon the lion and the adder; the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under foot.On lion and asp thou treadest, Thou trampest young lion and dragon.
Psalms 91:14Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.Because he has given me his love, I will take him out of danger: I will put him in a place of honour, because he has kept my name in his heart.Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him; I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.Because in Me he hath delighted, I also deliver him I set him on high, Because he hath known My name.
Psalms 91:15He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.When his cry comes up to me, I will give him an answer: I will be with him in trouble; I will make him free from danger and give him honour.He shall call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honour him.He doth call Me, and I answer him, I [am] with him in distress, I deliver him, and honour him.
Psalms 91:16With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.With long life will he be rewarded; and I will let him see my salvation.With length of days will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.With length of days I satisfy him, And I cause him to look on My salvation!
