Psalms 30:1I will extol thee, O LORD; for thou hast lifted me up, and hast not made my foes to rejoice over me.<A Psalm. A Song at the blessing of the House. Of David.> I will give you praise and honour, O Lord, because through you I have been lifted up; you have not given my haters cause to be glad over me.Unto the end, a psalm for David, in an ecstasy.A Psalm and Song, at the dedication of the house of David. I will extol thee, O LORD; for thou hast lifted me up, and hast not made my foes to rejoice over me.
Psalms 30:2O LORD my God, I cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me.O Lord my God, I sent up my cry to you, and you have made me well.In thee, O Lord, have I hoped, Iet me never be confounded: deliver me in thy justice.O LORD my God, I cried to thee, and thou hast healed me.
Psalms 30:3O LORD, thou hast brought up my soul from the grave: thou hast kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit.O Lord, you have made my soul come again from the underworld: you have given me life and kept me from going down among the dead.Bow down thy ear to me: make haste to deliver me. Be thou unto me a God, a protector, and a house of refuge, to save me.O LORD, thou hast brought up my soul from the grave: thou hast kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit.
Psalms 30:4Sing unto the LORD, O ye saints of his, and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.Make songs to the Lord, O you saints of his, and give praise to his holy name.For thou art my strength and my refuge; and for thy name's sake thou wilt lead me, and nourish me.Sing to the LORD, O ye saints of his, and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.
Psalms 30:5For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.For his wrath is only for a minute; in his grace there is life; weeping may be for a night, but joy comes in the morning.Thou wilt bring me out of this snare, which they have hidden for me: for thou art my protector.For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favor is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.
Psalms 30:6And in my prosperity I said, I shall never be moved.When things went well for me I said, I will never be moved.Into thy hands I commend my spirit: thou hast redeemed me, O Lord, the God of truth.And in my prosperity I said, I shall never be moved.
Psalms 30:7LORD, by thy favour thou hast made my mountain to stand strong: thou didst hide thy face, and I was troubled.Lord, by your grace you have kept my mountain strong: when your face was turned from me I was troubled.Thou hast hated them that regard vanities, to no purpose. But I have hoped in the Lord:LORD, by thy favor thou hast made my mountain to stand strong: thou didst hide thy face, and I was troubled.
Psalms 30:8I cried to thee, O LORD; and unto the LORD I made supplication.My voice went up to you, O Lord; I made my prayer to the Lord.I will be glad and rejoice in thy mercy. For thou best regarded my humility, thou hast saved my soul out of distresses.I cried to thee, O LORD; and to the LORD I made supplication.
Psalms 30:9What profit is there in my blood, when I go down to the pit? Shall the dust praise thee? shall it declare thy truth?What profit is there in my blood if I go down into the underworld? will the dust give you praise, or be a witness to your help?And thou hast not shut me up in the hands of the enemy: thou hast set my feet in a spacious place.What profit is there in my blood, when I go down to the pit? Shall the dust praise thee? shall it declare thy truth?
Psalms 30:10Hear, O LORD, and have mercy upon me: LORD, be thou my helper.Give ear to me, O Lord, and have mercy on me: Lord, be my helper.Have mercy on me, O Lord, for I am afflicted: my eye is troubled with wrath, my soul, and my belly:Hear, O LORD, and have mercy upon me: LORD, be thou my helper.
Psalms 30:11Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness;By you my sorrow is turned into dancing; you have taken away my clothing of grief, and given me robes of joy;For my life is wasted with grief: and my years in sighs. My strength is weakened through poverty and my bones are disturbed.Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness;
Psalms 30:12To the end that my glory may sing praise to thee, and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give thanks unto thee for ever.So that my glory may make songs of praise to you and not be quiet. O Lord my God, I will give you praise for ever.I am become a reproach among all my enemies, and very much to my neighbours; and a fear to my acquaintance. They that saw me without fled from me.To the end that my glory may sing praise to thee, and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give thanks to thee for ever.
