| Psalms 36:1 | The transgression of the wicked saith within my heart, that there is no fear of God before his eyes. | <To the chief music-maker. Of the servant of the Lord. Of David.> The sin of the evil-doer says in his heart, There is no fear of the Lord before his eyes. |
| Psalms 36:2 | For he flattereth himself in his own eyes, until his iniquity be found to be hateful. | For he takes comfort in the thought that his sin will not be uncovered and hated. |
| Psalms 36:3 | The words of his mouth are iniquity and deceit: he hath left off to be wise, and to do good. | In the words of his mouth are evil and deceit; he has given up being wise and doing good. |
| Psalms 36:4 | He deviseth mischief upon his bed; he setteth himself in a way that is not good; he abhorreth not evil. | He gives thought to evil on his bed; he takes a way which is not good; he is not a hater of evil. |
| Psalms 36:5 | Thy mercy, O LORD, is in the heavens; and thy faithfulness reacheth unto the clouds. | Your mercy, O Lord, is in the heavens, and your strong purpose is as high as the clouds. |

| Psalms 36:7 | How excellent is thy lovingkindness, O God! therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings. | How good is your loving mercy, O God! the children of men take cover under the shade of your wings. |
| Psalms 36:8 | They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of thy house; and thou shalt make them drink of the river of thy pleasures. | The delights of your house will be showered on them; you will give them drink from the river of your pleasures. |

| Psalms 36:11 | Let not the foot of pride come against me, and let not the hand of the wicked remove me. | Let not the foot of pride come against me, or the hand of the evil-doers put me out of my place. |
