| 2nd-Corinthians 3:1 | Do we begin again to commend ourselves? or need we, as some others, epistles of commendation to you, or letters of commendation from you? | Do we begin again to commend ourselves? or do we need, as some, commendatory letters to you, or [commendatory] from you? | Do we seem to be again attempting to put ourselves in the right? or have we need, as some have, of letters of approval to you or from you? | Do we begin again to commend ourselves? or need we, as some others, epistles of commendation to you, or letters of commendation from you. |

| 2nd-Corinthians 3:7 | But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away: | (But if the ministry of death, in letters, graven in stones, began with glory, so that the children of Israel could not fix their eyes on the face of Moses, on account of the glory of his face, [a glory] which is annulled; | For if the operation of the law, giving death, recorded in letters on stone, came with glory, so that the eyes of the children of Israel had to be turned away from the face of Moses because of its glory, a glory which was only for a time: | But if the ministration of death, written and engraven on stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not steadfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away; |
