| Psalms 37:1 | Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity. | {[A Psalm] of David.} Fret not thyself because of evil-doers, and be not envious of them that work unrighteousness; | A psalm for David, for a remembrance of the sabbath. | <Of David.> Do not be angry because of the wrongdoers, or have envy of the workers of evil. |
| Psalms 37:2 | For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb. | for they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and fade as the green herb. | Rebuke me not, O Lord, in thy indignation; nor chastise me in thy wrath. | For they will quickly be cut down like grass, and become dry like the green plants. |
| Psalms 37:3 | Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed. | Confide in Jehovah, and do good; dwell in the land, and feed on faithfulness; | For thy arrows are fastened in me : and thy hand hath been strong upon me. | Have faith in the Lord, and do good; be at rest in the land, and go after righteousness. |
