Psalms 9:1I will praise thee, O LORD, with my whole heart; I will shew forth all thy marvellous works.{To the chief Musician. Upon Muthlabben. A Psalm of David.} I will praise Jehovah with my whole heart; I will recount all thy marvellous works.Unto the end, for the hidden things of the Son. A psalm for David.
Psalms 9:2I will be glad and rejoice in thee: I will sing praise to thy name, O thou most High.I will be glad and rejoice in thee; I will sing forth thy name, O Most High.I will give praise to thee, O Lord, with my whole heart: I will relate all thy wonders.
Psalms 9:3When mine enemies are turned back, they shall fall and perish at thy presence.When mine enemies turned back, they stumbled and perished at thy presence:I will be glad and rejoice in thee: I will sing to thy name, O thou most high.
Psalms 9:4For thou hast maintained my right and my cause; thou satest in the throne judging right. For thou hast maintained my right and my cause. Thou sittest on the throne, judging righteously.When my enemy shall be turned back: they shall be weakened and perish before thy face.
Psalms 9:5Thou hast rebuked the heathen, thou hast destroyed the wicked, thou hast put out their name for ever and ever.Thou hast rebuked the nations, thou hast destroyed the wicked; thou hast put out their name for ever and ever.For thou hast maintained my judgment and my cause: thou hast sat on the throne, who judgest justice.
Psalms 9:6O thou enemy, destructions are come to a perpetual end: and thou hast destroyed cities; their memorial is perished with them. O enemy! destructions are ended for ever. Thou hast also destroyed cities, even the remembrance of them hath perished.Thou hast rebuked the Gentiles, and the wicked one hath perished: thou hast blotted out their name for ever and ever.
Psalms 9:7But the LORD shall endure for ever: he hath prepared his throne for judgment. But Jehovah sitteth for ever; he hath ordained his throne for judgment.The swords of the enemy have failed unto the end: and their cities thou hast destroyed. Their memory hath perished with a noise.
Psalms 9:8And he shall judge the world in righteousness, he shall minister judgment to the people in uprightness.And it is he that will judge the world with righteousness; he shall execute judgment upon the peoples with equity.but the Lord remaineth for ever. He hath prepared his throne in judgment:
Psalms 9:9The LORD also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble.And Jehovah will be a refuge to the oppressed one, a refuge in times of distress.and he shall judge the world in equity, he shall judge the people in justice.
Psalms 9:10And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, LORD, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.And they that know thy name will confide in thee; for thou, Jehovah, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.And the Lord is become a refuge for the poor: a helper in due time in tribulation.
Psalms 9:11Sing praises to the LORD, which dwelleth in Zion: declare among the people his doings.Sing psalms to Jehovah who dwelleth in Zion; tell among the peoples his doings.And let them trust in thee who know thy name: for thou hast not forsaken them that seek thee, O Lord.
Psalms 9:12When he maketh inquisition for blood, he remembereth them: he forgetteth not the cry of the humble.For when he maketh inquisition for blood, he remembereth them; the cry of the afflicted ones hath he not forgotten.Sing ye to the Lord, who dwelleth in Sion: declare his ways among the Gentiles:
Psalms 9:13Have mercy upon me, O LORD; consider my trouble which I suffer of them that hate me, thou that liftest me up from the gates of death:Be gracious unto me, O Jehovah; consider mine affliction from them that hate me, lifting me up from the gates of death:For requiring their blood he hath remembered the: he hath not forgotten the cry of the poor.
Psalms 9:14That I may shew forth all thy praise in the gates of the daughter of Zion: I will rejoice in thy salvation.That I may declare all thy praise in the gates of the daughter of Zion. I will be joyful in thy salvation.Have mercy on me, O Lord: see my humiliation which I suffer from my enemies.
Psalms 9:15The heathen are sunk down in the pit that they made: in the net which they hid is their own foot taken.The nations are sunk down in the pit [that] they made; in the net that they hid is their own foot taken.Thou that liftest me up from the gates of death, that I may declare all thy praises in the gates of the daughter of Sion.
Psalms 9:16The LORD is known by the judgment which he executeth: the wicked is snared in the work of his own hands. Higgaion. Selah.Jehovah is known [by] the judgment he hath executed: the wicked is ensnared in the work of his own hands. Higgaion. Selah.I will rejoice in thy salvation: the Gentiles have stuck fast in the destruction which they have prepared. Their foot hath been taken in the very snare which they hid.
Psalms 9:17The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.The wicked shall be turned into Sheol, all the nations that forget God.The Lord shall be known when he executeth judgments: the sinner hath been caught in the works of his own hands.
Psalms 9:18For the needy shall not alway be forgotten: the expectation of the poor shall not perish for ever.For the needy one shall not be forgotten alway; the hope of the meek shall not perish for ever.The wicked shall be turned into hell, all the nations that forget God.
Psalms 9:19Arise, O LORD; let not man prevail: let the heathen be judged in thy sight.Arise, Jehovah; let not man prevail: let the nations be judged in thy sight.For the poor man shall not be forgotten to the end: the patience of the poor shall not perish for ever.
Psalms 9:20Put them in fear, O LORD: that the nations may know themselves to be but men. Selah.Put them in fear, Jehovah: that the nations may know themselves to be but men. Selah.Arise, O Lord, let not man be strengthened: let the Gentiles be judged in thy sight.
