Why does your anger smolder against the sheep of your pasture? |

| Psalms 74:7 | They have cast fire into thy sanctuary, they have defiled by casting down the dwelling place of thy name to the ground. | They have set on fire thy sanctuary, they have profaned the habitation of thy name to the ground. | For neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the desert hills: | They have burned your sanctuary to the ground. They have profaned the dwelling-place of your Name. |
| Psalms 74:8 | They said in their hearts, Let us destroy them together: they have burned up all the synagogues of God in the land. | They said in their heart, Let us destroy them together: they have burned up all ùGod's places of assembly in the land. | for God is the judge. One he putteth down, and another he lifteth up: | They said in their heart, "We will crush them completely." They have burned up all the places in the land where God was worshipped. |
| Psalms 74:9 | We see not our signs: there is no more any prophet: neither is there among us any that knoweth how long. | We see not our signs; there is no more any prophet, neither is there among us any that knoweth how long. | for in the hand of the Lord there is a cup of strong wine full of mixture. And he hath poured it out from this to that: but the dregs thereof are not emptied: all the sinners of the earth shall drink. | We see no miraculous signs. There is no longer any prophet, Neither is there among us anyone who knows how long. |
| Psalms 74:10 | O God, how long shall the adversary reproach? shall the enemy blaspheme thy name for ever? | How long, O God, shall the adversary reproach? Shall the enemy contemn thy name for ever? | But I will declare for ever: I will sing to the God of Jacob. | How long, God, shall the adversary reproach? Shall the enemy blaspheme your name forever? |
| Psalms 74:11 | Why withdrawest thou thy hand, even thy right hand? pluck it out of thy bosom. | Why withdrawest thou thy hand, and thy right hand? [pluck it] out of thy bosom: consume [them]. | And I will break all the horns of sinners: but the horns of the just shall be exalted. | Why do you draw back your hand, even your right hand? Take it out of your pocket and consume them! |
