Psalms 91:1He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.A psalm of a canticle on the sabbath day.He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
Psalms 91:2I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.I say of Jehovah, My refuge and my fortress; my God, I will confide in him.It is good to give praise to the Lord: and to sing to thy name, O most High.I will say of Yahweh, "He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in whom I trust."
Psalms 91:3Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.Surely *he* shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, [and] from the destructive pestilence.To shew forth thy mercy in the morning, and thy truth in the night:For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, From the deadly pestilence.
Psalms 91:4He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou find refuge: his truth is a shield and buckler.Upon an instrument of ten strings, upon the psaltery: with a canticle upon the harp.He will cover you with his pinions, Under his wings you will take refuge. His truth is a shield and a buckler.
Psalms 91:5Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night, for the arrow that flieth by day,For thou hast given me, O Lord, a delight in thy doings: and in the works of thy hands I shall rejoice.You will not be afraid of the terror by night, Nor of the arrow that flies by day;
Psalms 91:6Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.For the pestilence that walketh in darkness, for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.O Lord, how great are thy works! thy thoughts are exceeding deep.Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, Nor for the destruction that wastes at noonday.
Psalms 91:7A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; [but] it shall not come nigh thee.The senseless man shall not know: nor will the fool understand these things.A thousand shall fall at your side, And ten thousand at your right hand; But it will not come near you.
Psalms 91:8Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold, and see the reward of the wicked.When the wicked shall spring up as grass: and all the workers of iniquity shall appear: That they may perish for ever and ever:You will only look with your eyes, And see the reward of the wicked.
Psalms 91:9Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;Because *thou* hast made Jehovah, my refuge, the Most High, thy dwelling-place,but thou, O Lord, art most high for evermore.For you, Yahweh, are my refuge! You have made the Most High your habitation.
Psalms 91:10There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy tent.For behold thy enemies, O Lord, for behold thy enemies shall perish: and all the workers of iniquity shall be scattered.No evil will happen to you, Neither shall any plague come near your tent.
Psalms 91:11For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.For he shall give his angels charge concerning thee, to keep thee in all thy ways:But my horn shall be exalted like that of the unicorn: and my old age in plentiful mercy.For he will give his angels charge over you, To guard you in all your ways.
Psalms 91:12They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.They shall bear thee up in [their] hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.My eye also hath looked down upon my enemies: and my ear shall hear of the downfall of the malignant that rise up against me.They will bear you up in their hands, So that you won't dash your foot against a stone.
Psalms 91:13Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.Thou shalt tread upon the lion and the adder; the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under foot.The just shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow up like the cedar of Libanus.You will tread on the lion and cobra. You will trample the young lion and the serpent underfoot.
Psalms 91:14Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him; I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.They that are planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of the house of our God.Because he has set his love on me, therefore I will deliver him. I will set him on high, because he has known my name.
Psalms 91:15He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.He shall call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honour him.They shall still increase in a fruitful old age: and shall be well treated,He will call on me, and I will answer him. I will be with him in trouble. I will deliver him, and honor him.
Psalms 91:16With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.With length of days will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.that they may shew, That the Lord our God is righteous, and there is no iniquity in him.I will satisfy him with long life, And show him my salvation. Psalm 92 A Psalm. A song for the Sabbath day.
