Psalms 26:1Judge me, O LORD; for I have walked in mine integrity: I have trusted also in the LORD; therefore I shall not slide.{[A Psalm] of David.} Judge me, O Jehovah, for I have walked in mine integrity, and I have confided in Jehovah: I shall not slip.By David. Judge me, O Jehovah, for I in mine integrity have walked, And in Jehovah I have trusted, I slide not.<Of David.> O Lord, be my judge, for my behaviour has been upright: I have put my faith in the Lord, I am not in danger of slipping.
Psalms 26:2Examine me, O LORD, and prove me; try my reins and my heart.Prove me, Jehovah, and test me; try my reins and my heart:Try me, O Jehovah, and prove me, Purified [are] my reins and my heart.Put me in the scales, O Lord, so that I may be tested; let the fire make clean my thoughts and my heart.
Psalms 26:3For thy lovingkindness is before mine eyes: and I have walked in thy truth.For thy loving-kindness is before mine eyes, and I have walked in thy truth.For Thy kindness [is] before mine eyes, And I have walked habitually in Thy truth.For your mercy is before my eyes; and I have gone in the way of your good faith.
Psalms 26:4I have not sat with vain persons, neither will I go in with dissemblers.I have not sat with vain persons, neither have I gone in with dissemblers;I have not sat with vain men, And with dissemblers I enter not.I have not taken my seat with foolish persons, and I do not go with false men.
Psalms 26:5I have hated the congregation of evil doers; and will not sit with the wicked.I have hated the congregation of evil-doers, and I have not sat with the wicked.I have hated the assembly of evil doers, And with the wicked I sit not.I have been a hater of the band of wrongdoers, and I will not be seated among sinners.
Psalms 26:6I will wash mine hands in innocency: so will I compass thine altar, O LORD:I will wash my hands in innocency, and will encompass thine altar, O Jehovah,I wash in innocency my hands, And I compass Thine altar, O Jehovah.I will make my hands clean from sin; so will I go round your altar, O Lord;
Psalms 26:7That I may publish with the voice of thanksgiving, and tell of all thy wondrous works.That I may cause the voice of thanksgiving to be heard, and declare all thy marvellous works.To sound with a voice of confession, And to recount all Thy wonders.That I may give out the voice of praise, and make public all the wonders which you have done.
Psalms 26:8LORD, I have loved the habitation of thy house, and the place where thine honour dwelleth.Jehovah, I have loved the habitation of thy house, and the place where thy glory dwelleth.Jehovah, I have loved the habitation of Thy house, And the place of the tabernacle of Thine honour.Lord, your house has been dear to me, and the resting-place of your glory.
Psalms 26:9Gather not my soul with sinners, nor my life with bloody men:Gather not my soul with sinners, nor my life with men of blood;Do not gather with sinners my soul, And with men of blood my life,Let not my soul be numbered among sinners, or my life among men of blood;
Psalms 26:10In whose hands is mischief, and their right hand is full of bribes.In whose hands are evil devices, and their right hand is full of bribes.In whose hand [is] a wicked device, And their right hand [is] full of bribes.In whose hands are evil designs, and whose right hands take money for judging falsely.
Psalms 26:11But as for me, I will walk in mine integrity: redeem me, and be merciful unto me.But as for me, I will walk in mine integrity. Redeem me, and be gracious unto me.And I, in mine integrity I walk, Redeem me, and favour me.But as for me, I will go on in my upright ways: be my saviour, and have mercy on me.
Psalms 26:12My foot standeth in an even place: in the congregations will I bless the LORD.My foot standeth in an even place; in the congregations will I bless Jehovah.My foot hath stood in uprightness, In assemblies I bless Jehovah!I have a safe resting-place for my feet; I will give praise to the Lord in the meetings of the people.
