Psalms 23:1The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.On the first day of the week, a psalm for David. The earth is the Lord's and the fulness thereof: the world, and all they that dwell therein.
Psalms 23:2He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. For he hath founded it upon the seas; and hath prepared it upon the rivers.
Psalms 23:3He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.Who shall ascend into the mountain of the Lord: or who shall stand in his holy place?
Psalms 23:4Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.The innocent in hands, and clean of heart, who hath not taken his soul in vain, nor sworn deceitfully to his neighbour.
Psalms 23:5Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.He shall receive a blessing from the Lord, and mercy from God his Saviour.
Psalms 23:6Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever. This is the generation of them that seek him, of them that seek the face of the God of Jacob.
