Psalms 29:1Give unto the LORD, O ye mighty, give unto the LORD glory and strength.A psalm of a canticle, at the dedication of David's house.
Psalms 29:2Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.I will extol thee, O Lord, for thou hast upheld me: and hast not made my enemies to rejoice over me.
Psalms 29:3The voice of the LORD is upon the waters: the God of glory thundereth: the LORD is upon many waters.O Lord my God, I have cried to thee, and then hast healed me.
Psalms 29:4The voice of the LORD is powerful; the voice of the LORD is full of majesty.Thou hast brought forth, O Lord, my soul from hell: thou hast saved me from them that go down into the pit.
Psalms 29:5The voice of the LORD breaketh the cedars; yea, the LORD breaketh the cedars of Lebanon. Sing to the Lord, O ye his saints: and give praise to the memory of his holiness.
Psalms 29:6He maketh them also to skip like a calf; Lebanon and Sirion like a young unicorn. For wrath is in his indignation; and life in his good will. In the evening weeping shall have place, and in the morning gladness.
Psalms 29:7The voice of the LORD divideth the flames of fire. And in my abundance I said: I shall never be moved.
Psalms 29:8The voice of the LORD shaketh the wilderness; the LORD shaketh the wilderness of Kadesh. O Lord, in thy favour, thou gavest strength to my beauty. Thou turnedst away thy face from me, and I became troubled.
Psalms 29:9The voice of the LORD maketh the hinds to calve, and discovereth the forests: and in his temple doth every one speak of his glory. To thee, O Lord, will I cry: and I will make supplication to my God.
Psalms 29:10The LORD sitteth upon the flood; yea, the LORD sitteth King for ever. What profit is there in my blood, whilst I go down to corruption? Shall dust confess to thee, or declare thy truth?
Psalms 29:11The LORD will give strength unto his people; the LORD will bless his people with peace. The Lord hath heard, and hath had mercy on me: the Lord became my helper.
