| Psalms 3:1 | LORD, how are they increased that trouble me! many are they that rise up against me. | The psalm of David when he fled from the face of his son Absalom. |
| Psalms 3:2 | Many there be which say of my soul, There is no help for him in God. Selah. | Why, O Lord, are they multiplied that afflict me? many are they who rise up against me. |
