Psalms 51:3For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me.For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me.Why dost thou glory in malice, thou that art mighty in iniquity? For I am conscious of my error; my sin is ever before me.
Psalms 51:4Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest. Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mayest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest. All the day long thy tongue hath devised injustice: as a sharp razor, thou hast wrought deceit.Against you, you only, have I done wrong, working that which is evil in your eyes; so that your words may be seen to be right, and you may be clear when you are judging.
Psalms 51:5Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.Thou hast loved malice more than goodness: and iniquity rather than to speak righteousness.Truly, I was formed in evil, and in sin did my mother give me birth.

Psalms 51:8Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice.Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice. The just shall see and fear, and shall laugh at him, and say:Make me full of joy and rapture; so that the bones which have been broken may be glad.
Psalms 51:9Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities.Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all my iniquities.Behold the man that made not God his helper: But trusted in the abundance of his riches: and prevailed in his vanity.Let your face be turned from my wrongdoing, and take away all my sins.

Psalms 51:11Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.I will praise thee for ever, because thou hast done it: and I will wait on thy name, for it is good in the sight of thy saints.Do not put me away from before you, or take your holy spirit from me.

Psalms 51:15O Lord, open thou my lips; and my mouth shall shew forth thy praise.O Lord, open thou my lips; and my mouth shall show forth thy praise.O Lord, let my lips be open, so that my mouth may make clear your praise.
Psalms 51:16For thou desirest not sacrifice; else would I give it: thou delightest not in burnt offering. For thou desirest not sacrifice: else would I give it: thou delightest not in burnt-offering.You have no desire for an offering or I would give it; you have no delight in burned offerings.
Psalms 51:17The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise. The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise. The offerings of God are a broken spirit; a broken and sorrowing heart, O God, you will not put from you.
