1st-Corinthians 12:1Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I would not have you ignorant.It is important, brethren, that you should have clear knowledge on the subject of spiritual gifts.But concerning spiritual [manifestations], brethren, I do not wish you to be ignorant.And concerning the spiritual things, brethren, I do not wish you to be ignorant;
1st-Corinthians 12:2Ye know that ye were Gentiles, carried away unto these dumb idols, even as ye were led.You know that when you were heathens you went astray after dumb idols, wherever you happened to be led.Ye know that when ye were [of the] nations [ye were] led away to dumb idols, in whatever way ye might be led.ye have known that ye were nations, unto the dumb idols as ye were led being carried away;
1st-Corinthians 12:3Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.For this reason I would have you understand that no one speaking under the influence of The Spirit of God ever says, "Jesus is accursed," and that no one is able to say, "Jesus is Lord," except under the influence of the Holy Spirit.I give you therefore to know, that no one, speaking in [the power of the] Spirit of God, says, Curse [on] Jesus; and no one can say, Lord Jesus, unless in [the power of the] Holy Spirit.wherefore, I give you to understand that no one, in the Spirit of God speaking, saith Jesus [is] anathema, and no one is able to say Jesus [is] Lord, except in the Holy Spirit.
1st-Corinthians 12:4Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.Now there are various kinds of gifts, but there is one and the same Spirit;But there are distinctions of gifts, but the same Spirit;And there are diversities of gifts, and the same Spirit;
1st-Corinthians 12:5And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord.various forms of official service, and yet one and the same Lord;and there are distinctions of services, and the same Lord;and there are diversities of ministrations, and the same Lord;
1st-Corinthians 12:6And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all.diversities in work, and yet one and the same God He who in each person brings about the whole result.and there are distinctions of operations, but the same God who operates all things in all.and there are diversities of workings, and it is the same God who is working the all in all.
1st-Corinthians 12:7But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.But to each of us a manifestation of the Spirit has been granted for the common good.But to each the manifestation of the Spirit is given for profit.And to each hath been given the manifestation of the Spirit for profit;
1st-Corinthians 12:8For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;To one the utterance of wisdom has been granted through the Spirit; to another the utterance of knowledge in accordance with the will of the same Spirit;For to one, by the Spirit, is given [the] word of wisdom; and to another [the] word of knowledge, according to the same Spirit;for to one through the Spirit hath been given a word of wisdom, and to another a word of knowledge, according to the same Spirit;
1st-Corinthians 12:9To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit;to a third man, by means of the same Spirit, special faith; to another various gifts of healing, by means of the one Spirit;and to a different one faith, in [the power of] the same Spirit; and to another gifts of healing in [the power of] the same Spirit;and to another faith in the same Spirit, and to another gifts of healings in the same Spirit;
1st-Corinthians 12:10To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:to another the exercise of miraculous powers; to another the gift of prophecy; to another the power of discriminating between prophetic utterances; to another varieties of the gift of `tongues;' to another the interpretation of tongues.and to another operations of miracles; and to another prophecy; and to another discerning of spirits; and to a different one kinds of tongues; and to another interpretation of tongues.and to another in-workings of mighty deeds; and to another prophecy; and to another discernings of spirits; and to another [divers] kinds of tongues; and to another interpretation of tongues:
1st-Corinthians 12:11But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.But these results are all brought about by one and the same Spirit, who bestows His gifts upon each of us in accordance with His own will.But all these things operates the one and the same Spirit, dividing to each in particular according as he pleases.and all these doth work the one and the same Spirit, dividing to each severally as he intendeth.
1st-Corinthians 12:12For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.For just as the human body is one and yet has many parts, and all its parts, many as they are, constitute but one body, so it is with the Church of Christ.For even as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of the body, being many, are one body, so also [is] the Christ.For, even as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of the one body, being many, are one body, so also [is] the Christ,
1st-Corinthians 12:13For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.For, in fact, in one Spirit all of us whether we are Jews or Gentiles, slaves or free men were baptized to form but one body; and we were all nourished by that one Spirit.For also in [the power of] one Spirit *we* have all been baptised into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether bondmen or free, and have all been given to drink of one Spirit.for also in one Spirit we all to one body were baptized, whether Jews or Greeks, whether servants or freemen, and all into one Spirit were made to drink,
1st-Corinthians 12:14For the body is not one member, but many.For the human body does not consist of one part, but of many.For also the body is not one member but many.for also the body is not one member, but many;
1st-Corinthians 12:15If the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?Were the foot to say, "Because I am not a hand I am not a part of the body," that would not make it any the less a part of the body.If the foot say, Because I am not a hand I am not of the body, is it on account of this not indeed of the body?if the foot may say, `Because I am not a hand, I am not of the body;` it is not, because of this, not of the body;
1st-Corinthians 12:16And if the ear shall say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?Or were the ear to say, "Because I am not an eye, I am not a part of the body," that would not make it any the less a part of the body.And if the ear say, Because I am not an eye I am not of the body, is it on account of this not indeed of the body?and if the ear may say, `Because I am not an eye, I am not of the body;` it is not, because of this, not of the body?
1st-Corinthians 12:17If the whole body were an eye, where were the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where were the smelling?If the whole body were an eye, where would the hearing be? If the whole body were an ear, where would the nostrils be?If the whole body [were] an eye, where the hearing? if all hearing, where the smelling?If the whole body [were] an eye, where the hearing? if the whole hearing, where the smelling?
1st-Corinthians 12:18But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him.But, as a matter of fact, God has arranged the parts in the body every one of them as He has seen fit.But now God has set the members, each one of them in the body, according as it has pleased [him].and now, God did set the members each one of them in the body, according as He willed,
1st-Corinthians 12:19And if they were all one member, where were the body?If they were all one part, where would the body be?But if all were one member, where the body?and if all were one member, where the body?
1st-Corinthians 12:20But now are they many members, yet but one body.But, as a matter of fact, there are many parts and but one body.But now the members [are] many, and the body one.and now, indeed, [are] many members, and one body;
1st-Corinthians 12:21And the eye cannot say unto the hand, I have no need of thee: nor again the head to the feet, I have no need of you.It is also impossible for the eye to say to the hand, "I do not need you;" or again for the head to say to the feet, "I do not need you."The eye cannot say to the hand, I have not need of thee; or again, the head to the feet, I have not need of you.and an eye is not able to say to the hand, `I have no need of thee;` nor again the head to the feet, `I have no need of you.`
1st-Corinthians 12:22Nay, much more those members of the body, which seem to be more feeble, are necessary:No, it is quite otherwise. Even those parts of the body which are apparently somewhat feeble are yet indispensable;But much rather, the members of the body which seem to be weaker are necessary;But much more the members of the body which seem to be more infirm are necessary,
1st-Corinthians 12:23And those members of the body, which we think to be less honourable, upon these we bestow more abundant honour; and our uncomely parts have more abundant comeliness.and those which we deem less honorable we clothe with more abundant honor; and so our ungraceful parts come to have a more abundant grace, while our graceful parts have everything they need.and those [parts] of the body which we esteem to be the more void of honour, these we clothe with more abundant honour; and our uncomely [parts] have more abundant comeliness;and those that we think to be less honourable of the body, around these we put more abundant honour, and our unseemly things have seemliness more abundant,
1st-Corinthians 12:24For our comely parts have no need: but God hath tempered the body together, having given more abundant honour to that part which lacked:But it was God who built up the body, and bestowed more abundant honor on the part that felt the need,but our comely [parts] have not need. But God has tempered the body together, having given more abundant honour to [the part] that lacked;and our seemly things have no need; but God did temper the body together, to the lacking part having given more abundant honour,
1st-Corinthians 12:25That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another.that there might be no disunion in the body, but that all the members might entertain the same anxious care for one another's welfare.that there might be no division in the body, but that the members might have the same concern one for another.that there may be no division in the body, but that the members may have the same anxiety for one another,
1st-Corinthians 12:26And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honoured, all the members rejoice with it.And if one part is suffering, every other part suffers with it; or if one part is receiving special honor, every other part shares in the joy.And if one member suffer, all the members suffer with [it]; and if one member be glorified, all the members rejoice with [it].and whether one member doth suffer, suffer with [it] do all the members, or one member is glorified, rejoice with [it] do all the members;
1st-Corinthians 12:27Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.As for you, you are the body of Christ, and individually you are members of it.Now *ye* are Christ's body, and members in particular.and ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.
1st-Corinthians 12:28And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues.And by God's appointment there are in the Church first Apostles, secondly Prophets, thirdly teachers. Then come miraculous powers, and then ability to cure diseases or render loving service, or powers of organization, or varieties of the gift of `tongues.'And God has set certain in the assembly: first, apostles; secondly, prophets; thirdly, teachers; then miraculous powers; then gifts of healings; helps; governments; kinds of tongues.And some, indeed, did God set in the assembly, first apostles, secondly prophets, thirdly teachers, afterwards powers, afterwards gifts of healings, helpings, governings, divers kinds of tongues;
1st-Corinthians 12:29Are all apostles? are all prophets? are all teachers? are all workers of miracles?Are all Apostles? Are all Prophets? Are all teachers?[Are] all apostles? [are] all prophets? [are] all teachers? [are] all [in possession of] miraculous powers?[are] all apostles? [are] all prophets? [are] all teachers? [are] all powers?
1st-Corinthians 12:30Have all the gifts of healing? do all speak with tongues? do all interpret?Have all miraculous powers? Have all ability to cure diseases? Do all speak in `tongues'? Do all interpret?have all gifts of healings? do all speak with tongues? do all interpret?have all gifts of healings? do all speak with tongues? do all interpret?
1st-Corinthians 12:31But covet earnestly the best gifts: and yet shew I unto you a more excellent way.But always seek to excel in the greater gifts. And now I will point out to you a way of life which transcends all others.But desire earnestly the greater gifts, and yet shew I unto you a way of more surpassing excellence.and desire earnestly the better gifts; and yet a far excelling way do I shew to you:
