Psalms 6:1O LORD, rebuke me not in thine anger, neither chasten me in thy hot displeasure.Unto the end, in verses, a psalm for David, for the octave.O Jehovah, rebuke me not in thine anger, Neither chasten me in thy hot displeasure.
Psalms 6:2Have mercy upon me, O LORD; for I am weak: O LORD, heal me; for my bones are vexed.O Lord, rebuke me not in thy indignation, nor chastise me in thy wrath.Have mercy upon me, O Jehovah; for I am withered away: O Jehovah, heal me; for my bones are troubled.
Psalms 6:3My soul is also sore vexed: but thou, O LORD, how long?Have mercy on me, O Lord, for I am weak: heal me, O Lord, for my bones are troubled. My soul also is sore troubled: And thou, O Jehovah, how long?
Psalms 6:4Return, O LORD, deliver my soul: oh save me for thy mercies' sake. And my soul is troubled exceedingly: but thou, O Lord, how long?Return, O Jehovah, deliver my soul: Save me for thy lovingkindness' sake.
Psalms 6:5For in death there is no remembrance of thee: in the grave who shall give thee thanks?Turn to me, O Lord, and deliver my soul: O save me for thy mercy's sake. For in death there is no remembrance of thee: In Sheol who shall give thee thanks?
Psalms 6:6I am weary with my groaning; all the night make I my bed to swim; I water my couch with my tears. For there is no one in death, that is mindful of thee: and who shall confess to thee in hell?I am weary with my groaning; Every night make I my bed to swim; I water my couch with my tears.
Psalms 6:7Mine eye is consumed because of grief; it waxeth old because of all mine enemies.I have laboured in my groanings, every night I will wash my bed: I will water my couch with my tears.Mine eye wasteth away because of grief; It waxeth old because of all mine adversaries.
Psalms 6:8Depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity; for the LORD hath heard the voice of my weeping. My eye is troubled through indignation: I have grown old amongst all my enemies.Depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity; For Jehovah hath heard the voice of my weeping.
Psalms 6:9The LORD hath heard my supplication; the LORD will receive my prayer.Depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity: for the Lord hath heard the voice of my weeping.Jehovah hath heard my supplication; Jehovah will receive my prayer.
Psalms 6:10Let all mine enemies be ashamed and sore vexed: let them return and be ashamed suddenly. The Lord hath heard my supplication: the Lord hath received my prayer. All mine enemies shall be put to shame and sore troubled: They shall turn back, they shall be put to shame suddenly. Psalm 7 Shiggaion of David, which he sang unto Jehova, concerning the words of Cush a Benjamite.
