Psalms 24:1The earth is the LORD's, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.Unto the end, a psalm for David. To thee, O Lord, have I lifted up my soul.A Psalm of David. The earth is the LORD'S, and the fullness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.
Psalms 24:2For he hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods. In thee, O my God, I put my trust; let me not be ashamed. For he hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods.
Psalms 24:3Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place?Neither let my enemies laugh at me: for none of them that wait on thee shall be confounded.Who shall ascend upon the hill of the LORD? and who shall stand in his holy place?
Psalms 24:4He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.Let all them be confounded that act unjust things without cause. Shew, O Lord, thy ways to me, and teach me thy paths. He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul to vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.
Psalms 24:5He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.Direct me in thy truth, and teach me; for thou art God my Saviour; and on thee have I waited all the day long.He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.
Psalms 24:6This is the generation of them that seek him, that seek thy face, O Jacob. Selah.Remember, O Lord, thy bowels of compassion; and thy mercies that are from the beginning of the world. This is the generation of them that seek him, that seek thy face, O Jacob. Selah.
Psalms 24:7Lift up your head, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.The sins of my youth and my ignorances do not remember. According to thy mercy remember thou me: for thy goodness' sake, O Lord.Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lifted up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.
Psalms 24:8Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle. The Lord is sweet and righteous: therefore he will give a law to sinners in the way.Who is this King of glory? the LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle.
Psalms 24:9Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.He will guide the mild in judgment: he will teach the meek his ways.Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.
Psalms 24:10Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, he is the King of glory. Selah. All the ways of the Lord are mercy and truth, to them that seek after his covenant and his testimonies.Who is this King of glory? the LORD of hosts, he is the King of glory. Selah.
