Psalms 56:2Mine enemies would daily swallow me up: for they be many that fight against me, O thou most High.Have mercy on me, O God, have mercy on me: for my soul trusteth in thee. And in the shadow of thy wings will I hope, until iniquity pass away.My enemies would daily swallow me up: for they are many that fight against me, O thou Most High.
Psalms 56:3What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee.I will cry to God the most High; to God who hath done good to me.In the time when I am afraid, I will trust in thee.
Psalms 56:4In God I will praise his word, in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me. He hath sent from heaven and delivered me: he hath made them a reproach that trod upon me. Psalms 56:5Every day they wrest my words: all their thoughts are against me for evil.and he hath delivered my soul from the midst of the young lions. I slept troubled. Psalms 56:7Shall they escape by iniquity? in thine anger cast down the people, O God. They prepared a snare for my feet; and they bowed down my soul. They dug a pit before my face, and they are fallen into it.Shall they escape by iniquity; in thy anger cast down the people, O God.
Psalms 56:8Thou tellest my wanderings: put thou my tears into thy bottle: are they not in thy book?My heart is ready, O God, my heart is ready: I will Sing, and rehearse a psalm.Thou numberest my wanderings: put thou my tears into thy bottle: are they not in thy book?
Psalms 56:9When I cry unto thee, then shall mine enemies turn back: this I know; for God is for me.Arise, O my glory, arise psaltery and harp: I will arise early.When I cry to thee, then shall my enemies turn back: this I know; for God is for me.
