| Psalms 85:1 | LORD, thou hast been favourable unto thy land: thou hast brought back the captivity of Jacob. | | A prayer for David himself. Incline thy ear, O Lord, and hear me: for I am needy and poor. | To the Overseer. By sons of Korah. A Psalm. Thou hast accepted, O Jehovah, Thy land, Thou hast turned [to] the captivity of Jacob. |
| Psalms 85:2 | Thou hast forgiven the iniquity of thy people, thou hast covered all their sin. Selah. | | Preserve my soul, for I am holy: save thy servant, O my God, that trusteth in thee. | Thou hast borne away the iniquity of Thy people, Thou hast covered all their sin. Selah. |
