| Proverbs 15:1 | A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger. | A gentle answer turns away wrath, But a harsh word stirs up anger. | By a soft answer wrath is turned away, but a bitter word is a cause of angry feelings. | A soft answer turneth back fury, And a grievous word raiseth up anger. |
