| Psalms 37:1 | Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity. | Don't fret because of evil-doers, Neither be envious against those who work unrighteousness. | A psalm for David, for a remembrance of the sabbath. | |
| Psalms 37:2 | For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb. | For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, And wither like the green herb. | Rebuke me not, O Lord, in thy indignation; nor chastise me in thy wrath. | |
| Psalms 37:3 | Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed. | Trust in Yahweh, and do good. Dwell in the land, and enjoy safe pasture. | For thy arrows are fastened in me : and thy hand hath been strong upon me. | |

| Psalms 37:7 | Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass. | Rest in Yahweh, and wait patiently for him.
