| Psalms 71:1 | In thee, O LORD, do I put my trust: let me never be put to confusion. | In you, Yahweh, I take refuge. Never let me be put to shame. | | In you, O Lord, have I put my hope; let me never be shamed. |
| Psalms 71:2 | Deliver me in thy righteousness, and cause me to escape: incline thine ear unto me, and save me. | Deliver me in your righteousness, and rescue me. Turn your ear to me, and save me. | | Keep me safe in your righteousness, and come to my help; give ear to my voice, and be my saviour. |
