Psalms 22:1My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? why art thou so far from helping me, and from the words of my roaring?To the Overseer, on `The Hind of the Morning.` A Psalm of David. My God, my God, why hast Thou forsaken me? Far from my salvation, The words of my roaring?A psalm for David. Psalms 22:2O my God, I cry in the daytime, but thou hearest not; and in the night season, and am not silent. My God, I call by day, and Thou answerest not, And by night, and there is no silence to me.He hath set me in a place of pasture. He hath brought me up, on the water of refreshment:O my God, I cry in the day-time, but thou hearest not; and in the night season, and am not silent.
Psalms 22:3But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel.And Thou [art] holy, Sitting the Praise of Israel.he hath converted my soul. He hath led me on the paths of justice, for his own name's sake.But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel.
Psalms 22:4Our fathers trusted in thee: they trusted, and thou didst deliver them. In Thee did our fathers trust they trusted, And Thou dost deliver them.For though I should walk in the midst of the shadow of death, I will fear no evils, for thou art with me. Thy rod and thy staff, they have comforted me.Our fathers trusted in thee: they trusted, and thou didst deliver them.
Psalms 22:5They cried unto thee, and were delivered: they trusted in thee, and were not confounded. Unto Thee they cried, and were delivered, In Thee they trusted, and were not ashamed.Thou hast prepared a table before me against them that afflict me. Thou hast anointed my head with oil; and my chalice which inebriateth me, how goodly is it!They cried to thee, and were delivered: they trusted in thee, and were not confounded.
Psalms 22:6But I am a worm, and no man; a reproach of men, and despised of the people.And I [am] a worm, and no man, A reproach of man, and despised of the people.And thy mercy will follow me all the days of my life. Psalms 22:8He trusted on the LORD that he would deliver him: let him deliver him, seeing he delighted in him.`Roll unto Jehovah, He doth deliver him, He doth deliver him, for he delighted in him.`He trusted on the LORD that he would deliver him: let him deliver him, seeing he delighted in him.
Psalms 22:9But thou art he that took me out of the womb: thou didst make me hope when I was upon my mother's breasts.For thou [art] He bringing me forth from the womb, Causing me to trust, On the breasts of my mother.But thou art he that brought me forth into life: thou didst make me hope when I was upon my mother's breasts.
Psalms 22:10I was cast upon thee from the womb: thou art my God from my mother's belly.On Thee I have been cast from the womb, From the belly of my mother Thou [art] my God.I was cast upon thee from my birth: thou art my God from the time I was born.
