| Psalms 63:1 | O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is; | A Psalm of David, in his being in the wilderness of Judah. O God, Thou [art] my God, earnestly do I seek Thee, Thirsted for Thee hath my soul, Longed for Thee hath my flesh, In a land dry and weary, without waters. | Unto the end, a psalm for David. | God, you are my God. I will earnestly seek you. My soul thirsts for you, My flesh longs for you, In a dry and weary land, where there is no water. |
| Psalms 63:2 | To see thy power and thy glory, so as I have seen thee in the sanctuary. | So in the sanctuary I have seen Thee, To behold Thy strength and Thine honour. | Hear, O God, my prayer, when I make supplication to thee : deliver my soul from the fear of the enemy. | So I have seen you in the sanctuary, Watching your power and your glory. |
| Psalms 63:3 | Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee. | Because better [is] Thy kindness than life, My lips do praise Thee. | Thou hast protected me from the assembly of the malignant; from the multitude of the workers of iniquity. | Because your lovingkindness is better than life, My lips shall praise you. |

| Psalms 63:6 | When I remember thee upon my bed, and meditate on thee in the night watches. | If I have remembered Thee on my couch, In the watches I meditate on Thee. | They will shoot at him on a sudden, and will not fear: they are resolute in wickedness. They have talked of hiding snares; they have said: Who shall see them? | When I remember you on my bed, And think about you in the night watches. |
| Psalms 63:7 | Because thou hast been my help, therefore in the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice. | For Thou hast been a help to me, And in the shadow of Thy wings I sing. | They have searched after iniquities: they have failed in their search. Man shall come to a deep heart: | For you have been my help. I will rejoice in the shadow of your wings. |

All that saw them were troubled; | But those who seek my soul, to destroy it, Shall go into the lower parts of the earth. |
| Psalms 63:10 | They shall fall by the sword: they shall be a portion for foxes. | They cause him to run on the edge of the sword, A portion for foxes they are. | and every man was afraid. And they declared the works of God: and understood his doings. | They shall be given over to the power of the sword. They shall be jackal food. |
