| Psalms 70:1 | Make haste, O God, to deliver me; make haste to help me, O LORD. | To the Overseer, by David. `To cause to remember.` O God, to deliver me, O Jehovah, for my help, haste. | A psalm for David. Of the sons of Jonadab, and the former captives. In thee, O Lord, I have hoped, let me never be put to confusion: | Hurry, God, to deliver me. Come quickly to help me, Yahweh. |
| Psalms 70:2 | Let them be ashamed and confounded that seek after my soul: let them be turned backward, and put to confusion, that desire my hurt. | Let them be ashamed and confounded Who are seeking my soul, Let them be turned backward and blush Who are desiring my evil. | deliver me in thy justice, and rescue me. Incline thy ear unto me, and save me. | Let them be put to shame and confounded who seek my soul. Let those who desire my ruin be turned back in disgrace. |
