| Psalms 81:1 | Sing aloud unto God our strength: make a joyful noise unto the God of Jacob. | To the Overseer. `On the Gittith.` By Asaph. Cry aloud to God our strength, Shout to the God of Jacob. | A psalm for Asaph. God hath stood in the congregation of gods: and being in the midst of them he judgeth gods. | Sing aloud to God, our strength! Make a joyful noise to the God of Jacob! |
| Psalms 81:2 | Take a psalm, and bring hither the timbrel, the pleasant harp with the psaltery. | Lift up a song, and give out a timbrel, A pleasant harp with psaltery. | How long will you judge unjustly: and accept the persons of the wicked? | Raise a song, and bring here the tambourine, The pleasant lyre with the harp. |
