| Psalms 6:1 | O LORD, rebuke me not in thine anger, neither chasten me in thy hot displeasure. | To the Overseer with stringed instruments, on the octave. A Psalm of David. O Jehovah, in Thine anger reprove me not, Nor in Thy fury chastise me. | To the chief Musician on Neginoth upon Sheminith, A Psalm of David. Of David.> O Lord, do not be bitter with me in your wrath; do not send punishment on me in the heat of your passion. |
| Psalms 6:2 | Have mercy upon me, O LORD; for I am weak: O LORD, heal me; for my bones are vexed. | Favour me, O Jehovah, for I [am] weak, Heal me, O Jehovah, For troubled have been my bones, | Have mercy upon me, O LORD; for I am weak: O LORD, heal me; for my bones are agitated. | Have mercy on me, O Lord, for I am wasted away: make me well, for even my bones are troubled. |
