Psalms 2:1Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? Why have nations tumultuously assembled? And do peoples meditate vanity? Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? Why have the Gentiles raged, and the people devised vain things?
Psalms 2:2The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying,Station themselves do kings of the earth, And princes have been united together, Against Jehovah, and against His Messiah:The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying,The kings of the earth stood up, and the princes met together, against the Lord and against his Christ.

Psalms 2:5Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure. Then doth He speak unto them in His anger, And in His wrath He doth trouble them:Then shall he speak to them in his wrath, and trouble them in his sore displeasure. Then shall he speak to them in his anger, and trouble them in his rage.
Psalms 2:6Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.`And I I have anointed My King, Upon Zion My holy hill.`Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion. But I am appointed king by him over Sion his holy mountain, preaching his commandment.
Psalms 2:7I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.I declare concerning a statute: Jehovah said unto me, `My Son Thou [art], I to-day have brought thee forth.I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said to me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee. The Lord hath said to me: Thou art my son, this day have I begotten thee.
Psalms 2:8Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.Ask of Me and I give nations thy inheritance, And thy possession the ends of earth.Ask of me, and I will give thee the heathen for thy inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.Ask of me, and I will give thee the Gentiles for thy inheritance, and the utmost parts of the earth for thy possession.
Psalms 2:9Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel.Thou dost rule them with a sceptre of iron, As a vessel of a potter Thou dost crush them.`Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel.Thou shalt rule them with a rod of iron, and shalt break them in pieces like a potter's vessel.
Psalms 2:10Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth. And now, O kings, act wisely, Be instructed, O judges of earth,Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth. And now, O ye kings, understand: receive instruction, you that judge the earth.
Psalms 2:11Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling.Serve ye Jehovah with fear, And rejoice with trembling.Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling.Serve ye the Lord with fear: and rejoice unto him with trembling.
Psalms 2:12Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.Kiss the Chosen One, lest He be angry, And ye lose the way, When His anger burneth but a little, O the happiness of all trusting in Him!Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.Embrace discipline, lest at any time the Lord be angry, and you perish from the just way.
