Psalms 34:1I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.By David, in his changing his behaviour before Abimelech, and he driveth him away, and he goeth. I do bless Jehovah at all times, Continually His praise [is] in my mouth.A Psalm of David, when he changed his behavior before Abimelech; who drove him away, and he departed. I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth. For David himself. Judge thou, O Lord, them that wrong me : overthrow them that fight against me.
Psalms 34:2My soul shall make her boast in the LORD: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad.In Jehovah doth my soul boast herself, Hear do the humble and rejoice. My soul shall make her boast in the LORD: the humble shall hear of it and be glad.Take hold of arms and shield : and rise up to help me.
Psalms 34:3O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together.Ascribe ye greatness to Jehovah with me, And we exalt His name together.O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together.Bring out the sword, and shut up the way against them that persecute me : say to my soul : I am thy salvation.
Psalms 34:4I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.I sought Jehovah, and He answered me, And from all my fears did deliver me.I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.Let them be confounded and ashamed that seek after my soul. Let them be turned back and be confounded that devise against me.
Psalms 34:5They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed. They looked expectingly unto Him, And they became bright, And their faces are not ashamed. They looked to him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed.Let them become as dust before the wind : and let the angel of the Lord straiten them.
Psalms 34:6This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles. This poor [one] called, and Jehovah heard, And from all his distresses saved him. This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.Let their way become dark and slippery; and let the angel of the Lord pursue them.
Psalms 34:7The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.A messenger of Jehovah is encamping, Round about those who fear Him, And He armeth them. The angel of the LORD encampeth around them that fear him, and delivereth them. For without cause they have hidden their net for me unto destruction : without cause they have upbraided my soul.
Psalms 34:8O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.Taste ye and see that Jehovah [is] good, O the happiness of the man who trusteth in Him.O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.Let the snare which he knoweth not come upon him : and let the net which he hath hidden catch him : and let the net which he hath hidden catch him : and into that very snare let them fall.
Psalms 34:9O fear the LORD, ye his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him.Fear Jehovah, ye His holy ones, For there is no lack to those fearing Him.O fear the LORD, ye his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him.But my soul shall rejoice in the Lord; and shall be delighted in his salvation.
Psalms 34:10The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the LORD shall not want any good thing.Young lions have lacked and been hungry, And those seeking Jehovah lack not any good,The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the LORD shall not want any good thing. All my bones shall say : Lord, who is like to thee? Who deliverest the poor from the hand of them that are stronger than he; the needy and the poor from them that strip him.
Psalms 34:11Come, ye children, hearken unto me: I will teach you the fear of the LORD. Come ye, children, hearken to me, The fear of Jehovah I do teach you.Come, ye children, hearken to me; I will teach you the fear of the LORD.Unjust witnesses rising up have asked me things I knew not.
Psalms 34:12What man is he that desireth life, and loveth many days, that he may see good?Who [is] the man that is desiring life? Loving days to see good? What man is he that desireth life, and loveth many days, that he may see good? They repaid me evil for good : to the depriving me of my soul.
Psalms 34:13Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile. Keep thy tongue from evil, And thy lips from speaking deceit.Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile. But as for me, when they were troublesome to me, I was clothed with haircloth. I humbled my soul with fasting; and my prayer shall be turned into my bosom.
Psalms 34:14Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it. Turn aside from evil and do good, Seek peace and pursue it.Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.As a neighbour and as an own brother, so did I please : as one mourning and sorrowful so was I humbled.
Psalms 34:15The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry.The eyes of Jehovah [are] unto the righteous, And His ears unto their cry.The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and his ears are open to their cry.But they rejoiced against me, and came together : scourges were gathered together upon me, and I knew not.
Psalms 34:16The face of the LORD is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.(The face of Jehovah [is] on doers of evil, To cut off from earth their memorial.)The face of the LORD is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth. They were separated, and repented not : they tempted me, they scoffed at me with scorn : they gnashed upon me with their teeth.
Psalms 34:17The righteous cry, and the LORD heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles. They cried, and Jehovah heard, And from all their distresses delivered them. The righteous cry, and the LORD heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles.Lord, when wilt thou look upon me? rescue thou soul from their malice : my only one from the lions.
Psalms 34:18The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.Near [is] Jehovah to the broken of heart, And the bruised of spirit He saveth. The LORD is nigh to them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as are of a contrite spirit.I will give thanks to thee in a great church; I will praise thee in a strong people.
Psalms 34:19Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all. Many [are] the evils of the righteous, Out of them all doth Jehovah deliver him. Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all.Let not them that are my enemies wrongfully rejoice over me : who have hated me without cause, and wink with the eyes.
Psalms 34:20He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken. He is keeping all his bones, One of them hath not been broken. He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken. For they spoke indeed peaceably to me; and speaking in the anger of the earth they devised guile.
Psalms 34:21Evil shall slay the wicked: and they that hate the righteous shall be desolate.Evil doth put to death the wicked, And those hating the righteous are desolate.Evil shall slay the wicked: and they that hate the righteous shall be desolate. And they opened their mouth wide against me; they said : Well done, well done, our eyes have seen it.
Psalms 34:22The LORD redeemeth the soul of his servants: and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate.Jehovah redeemeth the soul of His servants, And none trusting in Him are desolate! The LORD redeemeth the soul of his servants: and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate.Thou hast seen, O Lord, be not thou silent : O Lord, depart not from me.
