Psalms 6:1O LORD, rebuke me not in thine anger, neither chasten me in thy hot displeasure. To the Overseer with stringed instruments, on the octave. A Psalm of David. O Jehovah, in Thine anger reprove me not, Nor in Thy fury chastise me.To the chief Musician on Neginoth upon Sheminith, A Psalm of David. O LORD, rebuke me not in thy anger, neither chasten me in thy hot displeasure.Unto the end, in verses, a psalm for David, for the octave.
Psalms 6:2Have mercy upon me, O LORD; for I am weak: O LORD, heal me; for my bones are vexed.Favour me, O Jehovah, for I [am] weak, Heal me, O Jehovah, For troubled have been my bones,Have mercy upon me, O LORD; for I am weak: O LORD, heal me; for my bones are agitated.O Lord, rebuke me not in thy indignation, nor chastise me in thy wrath.
Psalms 6:3My soul is also sore vexed: but thou, O LORD, how long? And my soul hath been troubled greatly, And Thou, O Jehovah, till when?My soul is also greatly disquieted: but thou, O LORD, how long?Have mercy on me, O Lord, for I am weak: heal me, O Lord, for my bones are troubled.
Psalms 6:4Return, O LORD, deliver my soul: oh save me for thy mercies' sake.Turn back, O Jehovah, draw out my soul, Save me for Thy kindness` sake.Return, O LORD, deliver my soul: Oh save me for thy mercies sake. And my soul is troubled exceedingly: but thou, O Lord, how long?
Psalms 6:5For in death there is no remembrance of thee: in the grave who shall give thee thanks? For there is not in death Thy memorial, In Sheol, who doth give thanks to Thee? For in death there is no remembrance of thee: in the grave who will give thee thanks?Turn to me, O Lord, and deliver my soul: O save me for thy mercy's sake.
Psalms 6:6I am weary with my groaning; all the night make I my bed to swim; I water my couch with my tears.I have been weary with my sighing, I meditate through all the night [on] my bed, With my tear my couch I waste.I am weary with my groaning; all the night I make my bed to swim; I water my couch with my tears. For there is no one in death, that is mindful of thee: and who shall confess to thee in hell?
Psalms 6:7Mine eye is consumed because of grief; it waxeth old because of all mine enemies.Old from provocation is mine eye, It is old because of all mine adversaries,My eye is consumed because of grief; it groweth old because of all my enemies.I have laboured in my groanings, every night I will wash my bed: I will water my couch with my tears.
Psalms 6:8Depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity; for the LORD hath heard the voice of my weeping.Turn from me all ye workers of iniquity, For Jehovah heard the voice of my weeping,Depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity; for the LORD hath heard the voice of my weeping. My eye is troubled through indignation: I have grown old amongst all my enemies.
Psalms 6:9The LORD hath heard my supplication; the LORD will receive my prayer.Jehovah hath heard my supplication, Jehovah my prayer receiveth. The LORD hath heard my supplication; the LORD will receive my prayer.Depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity: for the Lord hath heard the voice of my weeping.
Psalms 6:10Let all mine enemies be ashamed and sore vexed: let them return and be ashamed suddenly.Ashamed and troubled greatly are all mine enemies, They turn back ashamed [in] a moment!Let all my enemies be ashamed and greatly disquieted: let them return and be suddenly ashamed. The Lord hath heard my supplication: the Lord hath received my prayer.
