Genesis 49:1And Jacob called to his sons, and said, Assemble yourselves, that I may tell you that which shall befall you in the last days.And Jacob called unto his sons, and said: gather yourselves together, that I may tell you that which shall befall you in the latter days. And Jacob sent for his sons, and said, Come together, all of you, so that I may give you news of your fate in future times.And Jacob called his sons, and said, Gather yourselves together, and I will tell you what will befall you at the end of days.
Genesis 49:2Assemble yourselves, and hear, ye sons of Jacob: and hearken to Israel your father.Assemble yourselves, and hear, ye sons of Jacob; And hearken unto Israel your father. Come near, O sons of Jacob, and give ear to the words of Israel your father.Assemble yourselves, and hear, ye sons of Jacob, And listen to Israel your father.
Genesis 49:3Reuben, thou art my first-born, my might, and the beginning of my strength, the excellence of dignity, and the excellence of power:Reuben, thou art my first-born, my might, and the beginning of my strength; The pre-eminence of dignity, and the pre-eminence of power. Reuben, you are my oldest son, the first-fruit of my strength, first in pride and first in power:Reuben, thou art my firstborn, My might, and the firstfruits of my vigour: Excellency of dignity, and excellency of strength.
Genesis 49:4Unstable as water, thou shalt not excel; because thou wentest up to thy father's bed; then defiledst thou it; he went up to my couch.Boiling over as water, thou shalt not have the pre-eminence; Because thou wentest up to thy father's bed; Then defiledst thou it: he went up to my couch. But because you were uncontrolled, the first place will not be yours; for you went up to your father's bed, even his bride-bed, and made it unclean.Impetuous as the waters, thou shalt have no pre-eminence; Because thou wentest up to thy father's couch: Then defiledst thou [it]: he went up to my bed.

A curse on their passion for it was bitter; and on their wrath for it was cruel. Genesis 49:10The scepter shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh shall come: and to him shall be the gathering of the people.The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, Nor the ruler's staff from between his feet, Until Shiloh come: And unto him shall the obedience of the peoples be. The rod of authority will not be taken from Judah, and he will not be without a law-giver, till he comes who has the right to it, and the peoples will put themselves under his rule.The scepter will not depart from Judah, Nor the lawgiver from between his feet, Until Shiloh come, And to him will be the obedience of peoples.
Genesis 49:11Binding his foal to the vine, and his ass's colt to the choice vine; he washed his garments in wine, and his clothes in the blood of grapes:Binding his foal unto the vine, And his ass's colt unto the choice vine; He hath washed his garments in wine, And his vesture in the blood of grapes: Knotting his ass's cord to the vine, and his young ass to the best vine; washing his robe in wine, and his clothing in the blood of grapes:He bindeth his foal to the vine, And his ass's colt to the choice vine; He washeth his dress in wine, And his garment in the blood of grapes.

Genesis 49:13Zebulun shall dwell at the haven of the sea; and he shall be for a haven of ships; and his border shall be to Zidon.Zebulun shall dwell at the haven of the sea; And he shall be for a haven of ships; And his border shall be upon Sidon. The resting-place of Zebulun will be by the sea, and he will be a harbour for ships; the edge of his land will be by Zidon.Zebulun will dwell at the shore of the seas; Yea, he will be at the shore of the ships, And his side [toucheth] upon Sidon.
