Psalms 17:1A Prayer of David. Hear the right, O LORD, attend to my cry, give ear to my prayer, that goeth not out of feigned lips.Hear the right, O Jehovah, attend unto my cry; Give ear unto my prayer, that goeth not out of feigned lips. {A Prayer of David.} Hear the right, O Jehovah, attend unto my cry; give ear unto my prayer, which is not out of feigned lips.A Prayer of David. Hear, O Jehovah, righteousness, attend my cry, Give ear [to] my prayer, without lips of deceit.
Psalms 17:2Let my sentence come forth from thy presence; let thy eyes behold the things that are equal.Let my sentence come forth from thy presence; Let thine eyes look upon equity. Let my judgment come forth from thy presence, let thine eyes regard equity.From before thee my judgment doth go out; Thine eyes do see uprightly.
Psalms 17:3Thou hast proved my heart; thou hast visited me in the night; thou hast tried me, and shalt find nothing; I have purposed that my mouth shall not transgress.Thou hast proved my heart; thou hast visited me in the night; Thou hast tried me, and findest nothing; I am purposed that my mouth shall not transgress. Psalms 17:4Concerning the works of men, by the word of thy lips I have kept me from the paths of the destroyer.As for the works of men, by the word of thy lips I have kept me from the ways of the violent. Concerning the works of men, by the word of thy lips I have kept from the paths of the violent [man].As to doings of man, Through a word of Thy lips I have observed The paths of a destroyer;
Psalms 17:5Uphold my goings in thy paths, that my footsteps slip not.My steps have held fast to thy paths, My feet have not slipped. When thou holdest my goings in thy paths, my footsteps slip not.To uphold my goings in Thy paths, My steps have not slidden.
Psalms 17:6I have called upon thee, for thou wilt hear me, O God: incline thy ear to me, and hear my speech.I have called upon thee, for thou wilt answer me, O God: Incline thine ear unto me, [and] hear my speech. I have called upon thee, for thou answerest me, O ùGod. Incline thine ear unto me, hear my speech.I I called Thee, for Thou dost answer me, O God, incline Thine ear to me, hear my speech.
Psalms 17:7Show thy wonderful loving-kindness, O thou that savest by thy right hand them who put their trust in thee from those that rise up against them.Show thy marvellous lovingkindness, O thou that savest by thy right hand them that take refuge [in thee ]From those that rise up [against them]. Shew wondrously thy loving-kindnesses, O thou that savest by thy right hand them that trust [in thee] from those that rise up [against them].Separate wonderfully Thy kindness, O Saviour of the confiding, By Thy right hand, from withstanders.
Psalms 17:8Keep me as the apple of the eye, hide me under the shade of thy wings.Keep me as the apple of the eye; Hide me under the shadow of thy wings, Keep me as the apple of the eye, hide me under the shadow of thy wings,Keep me as the apple, the daughter of the eye; In shadow of Thy wings thou dost hide me.
Psalms 17:9From the wicked that oppress me, from my deadly enemies, who encompass me,From the wicked that oppress me, My deadly enemies, that compass me about. From the wicked that destroy me, my deadly enemies, who compass me about.From the face of the wicked who spoiled me. Mine enemies in soul go round against me.

Psalms 17:14From men who are thy hand, O LORD, from men of the world, who have their portion in this life, and whose belly thou fillest with thy hid treasure: they are full of children, and leave the rest of their substance to their babes.From men by thy hand, O Jehovah, From men of the world, whose portion is in [this] life, And whose belly thou fillest with thy treasure: They are satisfied with children, And leave the rest of their substance to their babes. From men [who are] thy hand, O Jehovah, from men of this age: their portion is in [this] life, and their belly thou fillest with thy hid [treasure]; they have their fill of sons, and leave the rest of their [substance] to their children.From men, Thy hand, O Jehovah, From men of the world, their portion [is] in life, And [with] Thy hidden things Thou fillest their belly, They are satisfied [with] sons; And have left their abundance to their sucklings.
Psalms 17:15As for me, I shall behold thy face in righteousness: I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with thy likeness.As for me, I shall behold thy face in righteousness; I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with [beholding] thy form.
