Psalms 20:1To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. The LORD hear thee in the day of trouble; the name of the God of Jacob defend thee.Jehovah answer thee in the day of trouble; The name of the God of Jacob set thee up on high; To the Overseer. A Psalm of David. Jehovah doth answer thee, In a day of adversity, The name of the God of Jacob doth set thee on high,
Psalms 20:2Send thee help from the sanctuary, and strengthen thee out of Zion.Send thee help from the sanctuary, And strengthen thee out of Zion; He doth send thy help from the sanctuary, And from Zion doth support thee,
Psalms 20:3Remember all thy offerings, and accept thy burnt-sacrifice. Selah.Remember all thy offerings, And accept thy burnt-sacrifice; Selah He doth remember all thy presents, And thy burnt-offering doth reduce to ashes. Selah.
Psalms 20:4Grant thee according to thy own heart, and fulfill all thy counsel.Grant thee thy heart's desire, And fulfil all thy counsel. He doth give to thee according to thy heart, And all thy counsel doth fulfil.
Psalms 20:5We will rejoice in thy salvation, and in the name of our God we will set up our banners: the LORD fulfill all thy petitions.We will triumph in thy salvation, And in the name of our God we will set up our banners: Jehovah fulfil all thy petitions. We sing of thy salvation, And in the name of our God set up a banner. Jehovah doth fulfil all thy requests.
Psalms 20:6Now I know that the LORD saveth his anointed; he will hear him from his holy heaven with the saving strength of his right hand.Now know I that Jehovah saveth his anointed; He will answer him from his holy heaven With the saving strength of his right hand. Now I have known That Jehovah hath saved His anointed, He answereth him from His holy heavens, With the saving might of His right hand.
Psalms 20:7Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God.Some [trust] in chariots, and some in horses; But we will make mention of the name of Jehovah our God. Some of chariots, and some of horses, And we of the name of Jehovah our God Make mention.
Psalms 20:8They are brought down and fallen: but we are raised, and stand upright.They are bowed down and fallen; But we are risen, and stand upright. They they have bowed and have fallen, And we have risen and station ourselves upright.
Psalms 20:9Save, LORD: let the king hear us when we call.Save, Jehovah: Let the King answer us when we call. Psalm 21 For the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David. O Jehovah, save the king, He doth answer us in the day we call!
