Psalms 6:1To the chief Musician on Neginoth upon Sheminith, A Psalm of David. O LORD, rebuke me not in thy anger, neither chasten me in thy hot displeasure.O Jehovah, rebuke me not in thine anger, Neither chasten me in thy hot displeasure. To the Overseer with stringed instruments, on the octave. A Psalm of David. O Jehovah, in Thine anger reprove me not, Nor in Thy fury chastise me.
Psalms 6:2Have mercy upon me, O LORD; for I am weak: O LORD, heal me; for my bones are agitated.Have mercy upon me, O Jehovah; for I am withered away: O Jehovah, heal me; for my bones are troubled. Favour me, O Jehovah, for I [am] weak, Heal me, O Jehovah, For troubled have been my bones,
Psalms 6:3My soul is also greatly disquieted: but thou, O LORD, how long?My soul also is sore troubled: And thou, O Jehovah, how long? And my soul hath been troubled greatly, And Thou, O Jehovah, till when?
Psalms 6:4Return, O LORD, deliver my soul: Oh save me for thy mercies sake.Return, O Jehovah, deliver my soul: Save me for thy lovingkindness' sake. Turn back, O Jehovah, draw out my soul, Save me for Thy kindness` sake.
Psalms 6:5For in death there is no remembrance of thee: in the grave who will give thee thanks?For in death there is no remembrance of thee: In Sheol who shall give thee thanks? For there is not in death Thy memorial, In Sheol, who doth give thanks to Thee?
Psalms 6:6I am weary with my groaning; all the night I make my bed to swim; I water my couch with my tears.I am weary with my groaning; Every night make I my bed to swim; I water my couch with my tears. I have been weary with my sighing, I meditate through all the night [on] my bed, With my tear my couch I waste.
Psalms 6:7My eye is consumed because of grief; it groweth old because of all my enemies.Mine eye wasteth away because of grief; It waxeth old because of all mine adversaries. Old from provocation is mine eye, It is old because of all mine adversaries,
Psalms 6:8Depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity; for the LORD hath heard the voice of my weeping.Depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity; For Jehovah hath heard the voice of my weeping. Turn from me all ye workers of iniquity, For Jehovah heard the voice of my weeping,
Psalms 6:9The LORD hath heard my supplication; the LORD will receive my prayer.Jehovah hath heard my supplication; Jehovah will receive my prayer. Jehovah hath heard my supplication, Jehovah my prayer receiveth.
Psalms 6:10Let all my enemies be ashamed and greatly disquieted: let them return and be suddenly ashamed.All mine enemies shall be put to shame and sore troubled: They shall turn back, they shall be put to shame suddenly. Psalm 7 Shiggaion of David, which he sang unto Jehova, concerning the words of Cush a Benjamite. Ashamed and troubled greatly are all mine enemies, They turn back ashamed [in] a moment!
