Apart from you I have no good thing."Let my judgment come forth from thy countenance: let thy eyes behold the things that are equitable.
Psalms 16:3But to the saints that are in the earth, and to the excellent, in whom is all my delight. As for the saints who are in the earth, they are the noble in whom is all my delight. As for the saints who are in the earth, They are the excellent ones in whom is all my delight.Thou hast proved my heart, and visited it by night, thou hast tried me by fire: and iniquity hath not been found in me.
Psalms 16:4Their sorrows shall be multiplied that hasten after another god: their drink-offerings of blood will I not offer, nor take their names into my lips.Their sorrows will be increased who go after another god: I will not take drink offerings from their hands, or take their names on my lips.Their sorrows shall be multiplied who give gifts to another god. Their drink-offerings of blood I will not offer, Nor take their names on my lips. That my mouth may not speak the works of men: for the sake of the words of thy lips, I have kept hard ways.
Psalms 16:5The LORD is the portion of my inheritance and of my cup: thou maintainest my lot.The Lord is my heritage and the wine of my cup; you are the supporter of my right.Yahweh assigned my portion and my cup. You made my lot secure.Perfect thou my goings in thy paths: that my footsteps be not moved.
Psalms 16:6The lines have fallen to me in pleasant places; yes, I have a goodly heritage.Fair are the places marked out for me; I have a noble heritage. The lines have fallen to me in pleasant places. Yes, I have a good inheritance.I have cried to thee, for thou, O God, hast heard me: O incline thy ear unto me, and hear my words.
Psalms 16:7I will bless the LORD, who hath given me counsel: my reins also instruct me in the night season.I will give praise to the Lord who has been my guide; knowledge comes to me from my thoughts in the night.I will bless Yahweh, who has given me counsel. Yes, my heart instructs me in the night seasons.Shew forth thy wonderful mercies; thou who savest them that trust in thee.
Psalms 16:8I have set the LORD always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.I have put the Lord before me at all times; because he is at my right hand, I will not be moved.I have set Yahweh always before me. Because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved. From them that resist thy right hand keep me, as the apple of thy eye. Protect me under the shadow of thy wings.
Psalms 16:9Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoiceth: my flesh also shall rest in hope.Because of this my heart is glad, and my glory is full of joy: while my flesh takes its rest in hope. Therefore my heart is glad, and my tongue rejoices. My body shall also dwell in safety. From the face of the wicked who have afflicted me. My enemies have surrounded my soul:
Psalms 16:10For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thy Holy One to see corruption. For you will not let my soul be prisoned in the underworld; you will not let your loved one see the place of death. For you will not leave my soul in Sheol, Neither will you allow your holy one to see corruption.they have shut up their fat: their mouth hath spoken proudly.
Psalms 16:11Thou wilt show me the path of life: in thy presence is fullness of joy; at thy right hand are pleasures for evermore. You will make clear to me the way of life; where you are joy is complete; in your right hand there are pleasures for ever and ever. You will show me the path of life. In your presence is fullness of joy. In your right hand there are pleasures forevermore. Psalm 17 A Prayer by David. They have cast me forth and now they have surrounded me: they have set their eyes bowing down to the earth.
