| Psalms 36:1 | To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David the servant of the LORD. The transgression of the wicked saith within my heart, that there is no fear of God before his eyes. | <To the chief music-maker. Of the servant of the Lord. Of David.> The sin of the evil-doer says in his heart, There is no fear of the Lord before his eyes. | An oracle is within my heart about the disobedience of the wicked: "There is no fear of God before his eyes." | A psalm for David himself. Be not emulous of evildoers; nor envy them that work iniquity. |
