| Psalms 45:1 | To the chief Musician upon Shoshannim, for the sons of Korah, Maschil, A Song of loves. My heart is inditing a good matter: I speak of the things which I have made concerning the king: my tongue is the pen of a ready writer. | <To the chief music-maker; put to Shoshannim. Of the sons of Korah. Maschil. A Song of loves.> My heart is flowing over with good things; my words are of that which I have made for a king; my tongue is the pen of a ready writer. | My heart overflows with a noble theme. I recite my verses for the king. My tongue is like the pen of a skillful writer. | Unto the end, for the sons of Core, for the hidden. |
| Psalms 45:2 | Thou art fairer than the children of men: grace is poured into thy lips: therefore God hath blessed thee for ever. | You are fairer than the children of men; grace is flowing through your lips; for this cause the blessing of God is with you for ever. | You are the most excellent of the sons of men. Grace has anointed your lips, Therefore God has blessed you forever. | Our God is our refuge and strength: a helper in troubles, which have found us exceedingly. |
