Psalms 32:1A Psalm of David, Maschil. Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.{Of David. Instruction.} Blessed is he [whose] transgression is forgiven, [whose] sin is covered!A psalm for David. Rejoice in the Lord, O ye just: praise becometh the upright.Blessed is he whose disobedience is forgiven, Whose sin is covered.
Psalms 32:2Blessed is the man to whom the LORD imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile.Blessed is the man unto whom Jehovah reckoneth not iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile!Give praise to the Lord on the harp; sing to him with the psaltery, the instrument of ten strings.Blessed is the man to whom Yahweh doesn't impute iniquity, In whose spirit there is no deceit.
Psalms 32:3When I kept silence, my bones became old through my roaring all the day long.When I kept silence, my bones waxed old, through my groaning all the day long.Sing to him a new canticle, sing well unto him with a loud noise.When I kept silence, my bones wasted away through my groaning all day long.
Psalms 32:4For day and night thy hand was heavy upon me: my moisture is turned into the drouth of summer. Selah.For day and night thy hand was heavy upon me; my moisture was turned into the drought of summer. Selah.For the word of the Lord is right, and all his works are done with faithfulness.For day and night your hand was heavy on me. My strength was sapped in the heat of summer. Selah.
Psalms 32:5I acknowledged my sin to thee, and my iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions to the LORD; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah.I acknowledged my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity I covered not; I said, I will confess my transgressions unto Jehovah, and *thou* forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah.He loveth mercy and judgment; the earth is full of the mercy of the Lord.I acknowledged my sin to you. I didn't hide my iniquity. I said, I will confess my transgressions to Yahweh, And you forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah.
Psalms 32:6For this shall every one that is godly pray to thee in a time when thou mayest be found: surely in the floods of great waters they shall not come nigh to him.For this shall every one that is godly pray unto thee at a time when thou mayest be found: surely in the floods of great waters they will not reach him.By the word of the Lord the heavens were established; and all the power of them by the spirit of his mouth:For this, let everyone that is godly pray to you in a time when you may be found. Surely when the great waters overflow, they shall not reach to him.
Psalms 32:7Thou art my hiding place; thou wilt preserve me from trouble; thou wilt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah.Thou art a hiding-place for me; thou preservest me from trouble; thou dost encompass me with songs of deliverance. Selah.Gathering together the waters of the sea, as in a vessel; laying up the depths in storehouses.You are my hiding place. You will preserve me from trouble. You will surround me with songs of deliverance. Selah.
Psalms 32:8I will instruct thee, and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with my eye.I will instruct thee and teach thee the way in which thou shalt go; I will counsel [thee] with mine eye upon thee.Let all the earth fear the Lord, and let all the inhabitants of the world be in awe of him.I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you.
Psalms 32:9Be ye not as the horse, or as the mule, which have no understanding: whose mouth must be held in with bit and bridle, lest they come near to thee.Be ye not as a horse, as a mule, which have no understanding: whose trappings must be bit and bridle, for restraint, or they will not come unto thee.For he spoke and they were made: he commanded and they were created.Don't be like the horse, or like the mule, which have no understanding, Whose are controlled by bit and bridle, or else they will not come near to you.
Psalms 32:10Many sorrows shall be to the wicked: but he that trusteth in the LORD, mercy shall encompass him.Many sorrows hath the wicked; but he that confideth in Jehovah, loving-kindness shall encompass him.The Lord bringeth to naught the counsels of nations; and he rejecteth the devices of people, and casteth away the counsels of princes.Many sorrows shall be to the wicked, But he who trusts in Yahweh, lovingkindness shall surround him.
Psalms 32:11Be glad in the LORD, and rejoice, ye righteous: and shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart.Rejoice in Jehovah, and be glad, ye righteous; and shout for joy, all ye upright in heart.But the counsel of the Lord standeth for ever: the thoughts of his heart to all generations.Be glad in Yahweh, and rejoice, you righteous! Shout for joy, all you who are upright in heart! Psalm 33
