Psalms 86:1A Prayer of David. Bow down thy ear, O LORD, hear me: for I am poor and needy.{A Prayer of David.} Incline thine ear, Jehovah, answer me; for I am afflicted and needy.Hear, Yahweh, and answer me, For I am poor and needy. For the sons of Core, a psalm of a canticle. The foundations thereof are in the holy mountains:
Psalms 86:2Preserve my soul; for I am holy: O thou my God, save thy servant that trusteth in thee.Keep my soul, for I am godly; O thou my God, save thy servant who confideth in thee.Preserve my soul, for I am godly. You, my God, save your servant who trusts in you.The Lord loveth the gates of Sion above all the tabernacles of Jacob.
Psalms 86:3Be merciful to me, O Lord: for I cry to thee daily.Be gracious unto me, O Lord; for unto thee do I call all the day.Be merciful to me, Lord, For I call to you all day long.Glorious things are said of thee, O city of God.
Psalms 86:4Rejoice the soul of thy servant: for to thee, O Lord, do I lift up my soul.Rejoice the soul of thy servant; for unto thee, Lord, do I lift up my soul.Bring joy to the soul of your servant, For to you, Lord, do I lift up my soul.I will be mindful of Rahab and of Babylon knowing me. Behold the foreigners, and Tyre, and the people of the Ethiopians, these were there.
Psalms 86:5For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive; and abundant in mercy to all them that call upon thee. For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive, and art of great loving-kindness unto all that call upon thee. For you, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive; Abundant in lovingkindness to all those who call on you.Shall not Sion say: This man and that man is born in her? and the Highest himself hath founded her.
Psalms 86:6Give ear, O LORD, to my prayer; and attend to the voice of my supplications.Give ear, O Jehovah, unto my prayer, and attend to the voice of my supplications.Hear, Yahweh, my prayer. Listen to the voice of my petitions. The Lord shall tell in his writings of peoples and of princes, of them that have been in her.
Psalms 86:7In the day of my trouble I will call upon thee: for thou wilt answer me.In the day of my distress I will call upon thee, for thou wilt answer me.In the day of my trouble I will call on you, For you will answer me.The dwelling in thee is as it were of all rejoicing.
Psalms 86:8Among the gods there is none like thee, O Lord; neither are there any works like thy works.Among the gods there is none like unto thee, Lord, and there is nothing like unto thy works. There is no one like you among the gods, Lord, Nor any deeds like your deeds.
Psalms 86:9All nations whom thou hast made shall come and worship before thee, O Lord; and shall glorify thy name. All nations whom thou hast made shall come and worship before thee, O Lord, and shall glorify thy name. All nations you have made will come and worship before you, Lord. They shall glorify your name.

Psalms 86:12I will praise thee, O Lord my God, with all my heart: and I will glorify thy name for evermore.I will praise thee, O Lord my God, with my whole heart; and I will glorify thy name for evermore.I will praise you, Lord my God, with my whole heart. I will glorify your name forevermore.
Psalms 86:13For great is thy mercy towards me: and thou hast delivered my soul from the lowest hell. For great is thy loving-kindness toward me, and thou hast delivered my soul from the lowest Sheol. For your lovingkindness is great toward me. You have delivered my soul from the lowest Sheol.
Psalms 86:14O God, the proud have risen against me, and the assemblies of violent men have sought after my soul; and have not set thee before them.O God, the proud are risen against me, and the assembly of the violent seek after my soul, and they have not set thee before them.God, the proud have risen up against me.
