Psalms 65:1Praise waits for you, God, in Zion. To you shall vows be performed.Praise waiteth for thee, O God, in Zion; And unto thee shall the vow be performed. <To the chief music-maker. A Psalm. Psalms 65:3Sins overwhelmed me, But you atoned for our transgressions.Iniquities prevail against me: As for our transgressions, thou wilt forgive them. Evils have overcome us: but as for our sins, you will take them away.Iniquities have prevailed against me: our transgressions, thou wilt forgive them.
Psalms 65:4Blessed is one whom you choose, and cause to come near, That he may live in your courts. We will be filled with the goodness of your house, Your holy temple.Blessed is the man whom thou choosest, and causest to approach [unto thee], That he may dwell in thy courts: We shall be satisfied with the goodness of thy house, Thy holy temple. Happy is the man of your selection, to whom you give a resting-place in your house; we will be full of the good things out of your holy place.Blessed is he whom thou choosest and causest to approach: he shall dwell in thy courts. We shall be satisfied with the goodness of thy house, of thy holy temple.
Psalms 65:5By awesome deeds of righteousness, you answer us, God of our salvation. You who are the hope of all the ends of the earth, Of those who are far away on the sea;By terrible things thou wilt answer us in righteousness, Oh God of our salvation, Thou that art the confidence of all the ends of the earth, And of them that are afar off upon the sea: You will give us an answer in righteousness by great acts of power, O God of our salvation; you who are the hope of all the ends of the earth, and of the far-off lands of the sea;By terrible things in righteousness wilt thou answer us, O God of our salvation, thou confidence of all the ends of the earth, and of the distant regions of the sea. ...
Psalms 65:6Who by his power forms the mountains, Having armed yourself with strength;Who by his strength setteth fast the mountains, Being girded about with might; The God by whose strength the mountains are fixed; who is robed with power:Who by his strength established the mountains, being girded with power;
Psalms 65:7Who stills the roaring of the seas, The roaring of their waves, And the turmoil of the nations.Who stilleth the roaring of the seas, The roaring of their waves, And the tumult of the peoples. Psalms 65:8They also who dwell in far-away places are afraid at your wonders. You call the morning's dawn and the evening with songs of joy.They also that dwell in the uttermost parts are afraid at thy tokens: Thou makest the outgoings of the morning and evening to rejoice. Those in the farthest parts of the earth have fear when they see your signs: the outgoings of the morning and evening are glad because of you.And they that dwell in the uttermost parts are afraid at thy tokens; thou makest the outgoings of the morning and evening to rejoice.
