| Proverbs 12:1 | Whoever loves correction loves knowledge, But he who hates reproof is stupid. | Whoso loveth correction loveth knowledge; But he that hateth reproof is brutish. | A lover of training is a lover of knowledge; but a hater of teaching is like a beast. | Whoso is loving instruction, is loving knowledge, And whoso is hating reproof [is] brutish. |
| Proverbs 12:2 | A good man shall obtain favor from Yahweh, But he will condemn a man of wicked devices. | A good man shall obtain favor of Jehovah; But a man of wicked devices will he condemn. | A good man has grace in the eyes of the Lord; but the man of evil designs gets punishment from him. | The good bringeth forth favour from Jehovah, And the man of wicked devices He condemneth. |
