| Job 22:2 | "Can a man be profitable to God? Surely he who is wise is profitable to himself. | Can a man be profitable unto God? Surely he that is wise is profitable unto himself. | Can man be compared with God, even though he were of perfect knowledge? | Can a man be profitable to God, as he that is wise may be profitable to himself? |
| Job 22:3 | Is it any pleasure to the Almighty, that you are righteous? Or does it benefit him, that you make your ways perfect? | Is it any pleasure to the Almighty, that thou art righteous? Or is it gain [to him], that thou makest thy ways perfect? | What doth it profit God if thou be just? or what dost thou give him if thy way be unspotted? | Is it any pleasure to the Almighty, that thou art righteous? or is it gain to him, that thou makest thy ways perfect? |
| Job 22:4 | Is it for your piety that he reproves you, That he enters with you into judgment? | Is it for thy fear [of him] that he reproveth thee, That he entereth with thee into judgment? | Shall he reprove thee for fear, and come with thee into judgment: | Will he reprove thee for fear of thee? will he enter with thee into judgment? |
