Psalms 91:1He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. A psalm of a canticle on the sabbath day.He who is dwelling In the secret place of the Most High, In the shade of the Mighty lodgeth habitually,
Psalms 91:2I will say of Yahweh, "He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in whom I trust."I will say of Jehovah, He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in whom I trust. It is good to give praise to the Lord: and to sing to thy name, O most High.He is saying of Jehovah, `My refuge, and my bulwark, my God, I trust in Him,`
Psalms 91:3For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, From the deadly pestilence.For he will deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, And from the deadly pestilence. To shew forth thy mercy in the morning, and thy truth in the night:For He delivereth thee from the snare of a fowler, From a calamitous pestilence.
Psalms 91:4He will cover you with his pinions, Under his wings you will take refuge. His truth is a shield and a buckler.He will cover thee with his pinions, And under his wings shalt thou take refuge: His truth is a shield and a buckler. Upon an instrument of ten strings, upon the psaltery: with a canticle upon the harp.With His pinion He covereth thee over, And under His wings thou dost trust, A shield and buckler [is] His truth.
Psalms 91:5You will not be afraid of the terror by night, Nor of the arrow that flies by day;Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night, Nor for the arrow that flieth by day; For thou hast given me, O Lord, a delight in thy doings: and in the works of thy hands I shall rejoice.Thou art not afraid of fear by night, Of arrow that flieth by day,
Psalms 91:6Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, Nor for the destruction that wastes at noonday.For the pestilence that walketh in darkness, Nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday. O Lord, how great are thy works! thy thoughts are exceeding deep.Of pestilence in thick darkness that walketh, Of destruction that destroyeth at noon,
Psalms 91:7A thousand shall fall at your side, And ten thousand at your right hand; But it will not come near you.A thousand shall fall at thy side, And ten thousand at thy right hand; [But] it shall not come nigh thee. The senseless man shall not know: nor will the fool understand these things.There fall at thy side a thousand, And a myriad at thy right hand, Unto thee it cometh not nigh.
Psalms 91:8You will only look with your eyes, And see the reward of the wicked.Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold, And see the reward of the wicked. When the wicked shall spring up as grass: and all the workers of iniquity shall appear: That they may perish for ever and ever:But with thine eyes thou lookest, And the reward of the wicked thou seest,
Psalms 91:9For you, Yahweh, are my refuge! You have made the Most High your habitation.For thou, O Jehovah, art my refuge! Thou hast made the Most High thy habitation; but thou, O Lord, art most high for evermore.(For Thou, O Jehovah, [art] my refuge,) The Most High thou madest thy habitation.
Psalms 91:10No evil will happen to you, Neither shall any plague come near your tent.There shall no evil befall thee, Neither shall any plague come nigh thy tent. For behold thy enemies, O Lord, for behold thy enemies shall perish: and all the workers of iniquity shall be scattered.Evil happeneth not unto thee, And a plague cometh not near thy tent,
Psalms 91:11For he will give his angels charge over you, To guard you in all your ways.For he will give his angels charge over thee, To keep thee in all thy ways. But my horn shall be exalted like that of the unicorn: and my old age in plentiful mercy.For His messengers He chargeth for thee, To keep thee in all thy ways,
Psalms 91:12They will bear you up in their hands, So that you won't dash your foot against a stone.They shall bear thee up in their hands, Lest thou dash thy foot against a stone. My eye also hath looked down upon my enemies: and my ear shall hear of the downfall of the malignant that rise up against me.On the hands they bear thee up, Lest thou smite against a stone thy foot.
Psalms 91:13You will tread on the lion and cobra. You will trample the young lion and the serpent underfoot.Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: The young lion and the serpent shalt thou trample under foot. The just shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow up like the cedar of Libanus.On lion and asp thou treadest, Thou trampest young lion and dragon.
Psalms 91:14Because he has set his love on me, therefore I will deliver him. I will set him on high, because he has known my name.Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name. They that are planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of the house of our God.Because in Me he hath delighted, I also deliver him I set him on high, Because he hath known My name.
Psalms 91:15He will call on me, and I will answer him. I will be with him in trouble. I will deliver him, and honor him.He shall call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble: I will deliver him, and honor him. They shall still increase in a fruitful old age: and shall be well treated,He doth call Me, and I answer him, I [am] with him in distress, I deliver him, and honour him.
Psalms 91:16I will satisfy him with long life, And show him my salvation. Psalm 92 A Psalm. A song for the Sabbath day.With long life will I satisfy him, And show him my salvation. Psalm 92 A Psalm, a Song for the sabbath day. that they may shew, That the Lord our God is righteous, and there is no iniquity in him.With length of days I satisfy him, And I cause him to look on My salvation!
