| 1st-Corinthians 12:1 | Now concerning spiritual gifts, brothers, I don't want you to be ignorant. | Now concerning spiritual [gifts], brethren, I would not have you ignorant. |
| 1st-Corinthians 12:2 | You know that when you were Gentiles, you were led away to those mute idols, however you might be led. | Ye know that when ye were Gentiles [ye were] led away unto those dumb idols, howsoever ye might led. |
| 1st-Corinthians 12:3 | Therefore I make known to you that no man speaking by God's Spirit says, "Jesus is accursed." No one can say, "Jesus is Lord," but by the Holy Spirit. | Wherefore I make known unto you, that no man speaking in the Spirit of God saith, Jesus is anathema; and no man can say, Jesus is Lord, but in the Holy Spirit. |
| 1st-Corinthians 12:4 | Now there are various kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit. | Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. |
| 1st-Corinthians 12:5 | There are various kinds of service, and the same Lord. | And there are diversities of ministrations, and the same Lord. |
| 1st-Corinthians 12:6 | There are various kinds of workings, but the same God, who works all things in all. | And there are diversities of workings, but the same God, who worketh all things in all. |
| 1st-Corinthians 12:7 | But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the profit of all. | But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit to profit withal. |
| 1st-Corinthians 12:8 | For to one is given through the Spirit the word of wisdom, and to another the word of knowledge, according to the same Spirit; | For to one is given through the Spirit the word of wisdom; and to another the word of knowledge, according to the same Spirit: |
| 1st-Corinthians 12:9 | to another faith, by the same Spirit; and to another gifts of healings, by the same Spirit; | to another faith, in the same Spirit; and to another gifts of healings, in the one Spirit; |
| 1st-Corinthians 12:10 | and to another workings of miracles; and to another prophecy; and to another discerning of spirits; to another different kinds of languages; and to another the interpretation of languages. | and to another workings of miracles; and to another prophecy; and to another discernings of spirits; to another [divers] kinds of tongues; and to another the interpretation of tongues: |
| 1st-Corinthians 12:11 | But the one and the same Spirit works all of these, distributing to each one separately as he desires. | but all these worketh the one and the same Spirit, dividing to each one severally even as he will. |
| 1st-Corinthians 12:12 | For as the body is one, and has many members, and all the members of the body, being many, are one body; so also is Christ. | For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of the body, being many, are one body; so also is Christ. |
| 1st-Corinthians 12:13 | For in one Spirit were we all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether bond or free; and were all made to drink into one Spirit. | For in one Spirit were we all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether bond or free; and were all made to drink of one Spirit. |
| 1st-Corinthians 12:14 | For the body is not one member, but many. | For the body is not one member, but many. |
| 1st-Corinthians 12:15 | If the foot would say, "Because I'm not the hand, I'm not part of the body," it is not therefore not part of the body. | If the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; it is not therefore not of the body. |
| 1st-Corinthians 12:16 | If the ear would say, "Because I'm not the eye, I'm not part of the body," it's not therefore not part of the body. | And if the ear shall say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; it is not therefore not of the body. |
| 1st-Corinthians 12:17 | If the whole body were an eye, where would the hearing be? If the whole were hearing, where would the smelling be? | If the whole body were an eye, where were the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where were the smelling? |
| 1st-Corinthians 12:18 | But now God has set the members, each one of them, in the body, just as he desired. | But now hath God set the members each one of them in the body, even as it pleased him. |
| 1st-Corinthians 12:19 | If they were all one member, where would the body be? | And if they were all one member, where were the body? |
| 1st-Corinthians 12:20 | But now they are many members, but one body. | But now they are many members, but one body. |
| 1st-Corinthians 12:21 | The eye can't tell the hand, "I have no need for you," or again the head to the feet, "I have no need for you." | And the eye cannot say to the hand, I have no need of thee: or again the head to the feet, I have no need of you. |
| 1st-Corinthians 12:22 | No, much rather, those members of the body which seem to be weaker are necessary. | Nay, much rather, those members of the body which seem to be more feeble are necessary: |
| 1st-Corinthians 12:23 | Those parts of the body which we think to be less honorable, on those we bestow more abundant honor; and our unpresentable parts have more abundant propriety; | and those [parts] of the body, which we think to be less honorable, upon these we bestow more abundant honor; and our uncomely [parts] have more abundant comeliness; |
| 1st-Corinthians 12:24 | whereas our presentable parts have no such need. But God composed the body together, giving more abundant honor to the inferior part, | whereas our comely [parts] have no need: but God tempered the body together, giving more abundant honor to that [part] which lacked; |
| 1st-Corinthians 12:25 | that there should be no division in the body, but that the members should have the same care for one another. | that there should be no schism in the body; but [that] the members should have the same care one for another. |
| 1st-Corinthians 12:26 | When one member suffers, all the members suffer with it. Or when one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it. | And whether one member suffereth, all the members suffer with it; or [one] member is honored, all the members rejoice with it. |
| 1st-Corinthians 12:27 | Now you are the body of Christ, and members individually. | Now ye are the body of Christ, and severally members thereof. |
| 1st-Corinthians 12:28 | God has set some in the assembly, first apostles, secondly prophets, thirdly teachers, then miracle workers, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, and various kinds of languages. | And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondly prophets, thirdly teachers, then miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, [divers] kinds of tongues. |
| 1st-Corinthians 12:29 | Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Are all miracle workers? | Are all apostles? are all prophets? are all teachers? are all [workers of] miracles? |
| 1st-Corinthians 12:30 | Do all have gifts of healings? Do all speak with various languages? Do all interpret? | have all gifts of healings? do all speak with tongues? do all interpret? |
| 1st-Corinthians 12:31 | But desire earnestly the best gifts. Moreover, I show a most excellent way to you. | But desire earnestly the greater gifts. And moreover a most excellent way show I unto you. |
