Psalms 18:1I love you, Yahweh, my strength.I love thee, O Jehovah, my strength.
Psalms 18:2Yahweh is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; My God, my rock, in whom I will take refuge; My shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower.Jehovah is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; My God, my rock, in whom I will take refuge; My shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower.
Psalms 18:3I will call on Yahweh, who is worthy to be praised; So shall I be saved from my enemies.I will call upon Jehovah, who is worthy to be praised: So shall I be saved from mine enemies.
Psalms 18:4The cords of death surrounded me. The floods of ungodliness made me afraid.The cords of death compassed me, And the floods of ungodliness made me afraid.

Psalms 18:16He sent from on high. He took me. He drew me out of many waters.He sent from on high, he took me; He drew me out of many waters.
Psalms 18:17He delivered me from my strong enemy, From those who hated me; for they were too mighty for me.He delivered me from my strong enemy, And from them that hated me; for they were too mighty for me.
Psalms 18:18They came on me in the day of my calamity, But Yahweh was my support.They came upon me in the day of my calamity; But Jehovah was my stay.
Psalms 18:19He brought me forth also into a large place. He delivered me, because he delighted in me.He brought me forth also into a large place; He delivered me, because he delighted in me.
Psalms 18:20Yahweh has rewarded me according to my righteousness. According to the cleanness of my hands has he recompensed me.Jehovah hath rewarded me according to my righteousness; According to the cleanness of my hands hath he recompensed me.
Psalms 18:21For I have kept the ways of Yahweh, And have not wickedly departed from my God.For I have kept the ways of Jehovah, And have not wickedly departed from my God.
Psalms 18:22For all his ordinances were before me. I didn't put away his statutes from me.For all his ordinances were before me, And I put not away his statutes from me.
Psalms 18:23I was also blameless with him. I kept myself from my iniquity.I was also perfect with him, And I kept myself from mine iniquity.
Psalms 18:24Therefore has Yahweh recompensed me according to my righteousness, According to the cleanness of my hands in his eyesight.Therefore hath Jehovah recompensed me according to my righteousness, According to the cleanness of my hands in his eyesight.
Psalms 18:25With the merciful you will show yourself merciful. With the perfect man, you will show yourself perfect.With the merciful thou wilt show thyself merciful; With the perfect man thou wilt show thyself perfect;
Psalms 18:26With the pure, you will show yourself pure. With the crooked you will show yourself shrewd.With the pure thou wilt show thyself pure; And with the perverse thou wilt show thyself froward.
Psalms 18:27For you will save the afflicted people, But the haughty eyes you will bring down.For thou wilt save the afflicted people; But the haughty eyes thou wilt bring down.
Psalms 18:28For you will light my lamp. Yahweh, my God, will light up my darkness.For thou wilt light my lamp: Jehovah my God will lighten my darkness.
Psalms 18:29For by you, I advance through a troop. By my God, I leap over a wall.For by thee I run upon a troop; And by my God do I leap over a wall.
Psalms 18:30As for God, his way is perfect. The word of Yahweh is tried. He is a shield to all those who take refuge in him.As for God, his way is perfect: The word of Jehovah is tried; He is a shield unto all them that take refuge in him.
Psalms 18:31For who is God, except Yahweh? Who is a rock, besides our God,For who is God, save Jehovah? And who is a rock, besides our God,
Psalms 18:32The God who arms me with strength, and makes my way perfect?The God that girdeth me with strength, And maketh my way perfect?
Psalms 18:33He makes my feet like hinds' feet, And sets me on my high places.He maketh my feet like hinds' [feet]: And setteth me upon my high places.
Psalms 18:34He teaches my hands to war; So that my arms bend a bow of bronze.He teacheth my hands to war; So that mine arms do bend a bow of brass.
Psalms 18:35You have also given me the shield of your salvation. Your right hand sustains me. Your gentleness has made me great.Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation; And thy right hand hath holden me up, And thy gentleness hath made me great.
Psalms 18:36You have enlarged my steps under me, My feet have not slipped.Thou hast enlarged my steps under me, And my feet have not slipped.
Psalms 18:37I will pursue my enemies, and overtake them. Neither will I turn again until they are consumed.I will pursue mine enemies, and overtake them; Neither will I turn again till they are consumed.
Psalms 18:38I will strike them through, so that they will not be able to rise. They shall fall under my feet.I will smite them through, so that they shall not be able to rise: They shall fall under my feet.
Psalms 18:39For you have girded me with strength to the battle. You have subdued under me those who rose up against me.For thou hast girded me with strength unto the battle: Thou hast subdued under me those that rose up against me.
Psalms 18:40You have also made my enemies turn their backs to me, That I might cut off those who hate me.Thou hast also made mine enemies turn their backs unto me, That I might cut off them that hate me.
Psalms 18:41They cried, but there was none to save; Even to Yahweh, but he didn't answer them.They cried, but there was none to save; Even unto Jehovah, but he answered them not.
Psalms 18:42Then I beat them small as the dust before the wind. I cast them out as the mire of the streets.Then did I beat them small as the dust before the wind; I did cast them out as the mire of the streets.
Psalms 18:43You have delivered me from the strivings of the people. You have made me the head of the nations. Psalms 18:44As soon as they hear of me they shall obey me. The foreigners shall submit themselves to me.As soon as they hear of me they shall obey me; The foreigners shall submit themselves unto me.

Psalms 18:46Yahweh lives; and blessed be my rock. Exalted be the God of my salvation,Jehovah liveth; and blessed be my rock; And exalted be the God of my salvation,
Psalms 18:47Even the God who executes vengeance for me, And subdues peoples under me.Even the God that executeth vengeance for me, And subdueth peoples under me.
Psalms 18:48He rescues me from my enemies. Yes, you lift me up above those who rise up against me. You deliver me from the violent man.He rescueth me from mine enemies; Yea, thou liftest me up above them that rise up against me; Thou deliverest me from the violent man.
Psalms 18:49Therefore I will give thanks to you, Yahweh, among the nations, And will sing praises to your name.Therefore I will give thanks unto thee, O Jehovah, among the nations, And will sing praises unto thy name.
Psalms 18:50He gives great deliverance to his king, And shows lovingkindness to his anointed, To David and to his seed, forevermore. Psalm 19 For the Chief Musician.
