| Psalms 62:1 | My soul rests in God alone. My salvation is from him. | <To the chief music-maker. After Jeduthun. A Psalm. Of David.> My soul, put all your faith in God; for from him comes my salvation. | {To the chief Musician. On Jeduthun. A Psalm of David.} Upon God alone doth my soul rest peacefully; from him is my salvation. | My soul waiteth in silence for God only: From him [cometh] my salvation. |
| Psalms 62:2 | He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress I will never be greatly shaken. | He only is my Rock and my salvation; he is my high tower; I will not be greatly moved. | He only is my rock and my salvation; my high fortress: I shall not be greatly moved. | He only is my rock and my salvation: [He is] my high tower; I shall not be greatly moved. |
| Psalms 62:3 | How long will you assault a man, Would all of you throw him down, Like a leaning wall, like a tottering fence? | How long will you go on designing evil against a man? running against him as against a broken wall, which is on the point of falling? | How long will ye assail a man; will ye [seek], all of you, to break him down as a bowing wall or a tottering fence? | How long will ye set upon a man, That ye may slay [him], all of you, Like a leaning wall, like a tottering fence? |
| Psalms 62:4 | They fully intend to throw him down from his lofty place. They delight in lies. They bless with their mouth, but they curse inwardly. Selah. | Their only thought is to put him down from his place of honour; their delight is in deceit: blessing is in their mouths but cursing in their hearts. (Selah.) | They only consult to thrust [him] down from his excellency; they delight in lies; they bless with their mouth, but in their inward part they curse. Selah. | They only consult to thrust him down from his dignity; They delight in lies; They bless with their mouth, but they curse inwardly. Selah |
| Psalms 62:5 | My soul, wait in silence for God alone, For my expectation is from him. | My soul, put all your faith in God; for from him comes my hope. | Upon God alone, O my soul, rest peacefully; for my expectation is from him. | My soul, wait thou in silence for God only; For my expectation is from him. |
| Psalms 62:6 | He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress. I will not be shaken. | He only is my Rock and my salvation; he is my high tower; I will not be greatly moved. | He only is my rock and my salvation; my high fortress: I shall not be moved. | He only is my rock and my salvation: [He is] my high tower; I shall not be moved. |
| Psalms 62:7 | With God is my salvation and my honor. The rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God. | In God is my salvation, and my glory; the Rock of my strength, and my safe place. | With God is my salvation and my glory; the rock of my strength, my refuge is in God. | With God is my salvation and my glory: The rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God. |
| Psalms 62:8 | Trust in him at all times, you people. Pour out your heart before him. God is a refuge for us. Selah. | Have faith in him at all times, you people; let your hearts go flowing out before him: God is our safe place. (Selah.) | Confide in him at all times, ye people; pour out your heart before him: God is our refuge. Selah. | Trust in him at all times, ye people; Pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. Selah |
| Psalms 62:9 | Surely men of low degree are just a breath, And men of high degree are a lie. In the balances they will go up. They are together lighter than a breath. | Truly men of low birth are nothing, and men of high position are not what they seem; if they are put in the scales together they are less than a breath. | Men of low degree are only vanity; men of high degree, a lie: laid in the balance, they go up together [lighter] than vanity. | Surely men of low degree are vanity, and men of high degree are a lie: In the balances they will go up; They are together lighter than vanity. |
| Psalms 62:10 | Don't trust in oppression. Don't become vain in robbery. If riches increase, Don't set your heart on them. | Have no faith in the rewards of evil-doing, or in profits wrongly made: if your wealth is increased, do not put your hopes on it. | Put not confidence in oppression, and become not vain in robbery; if wealth increase, set not your heart upon it. | Trust not in oppression, And become not vain in robbery: If riches increase, set not your heart [thereon]. |
| Psalms 62:11 | God has spoken once, Twice have I heard this, That power belongs to God. | Once has God said, twice has it come to my ears, that power is God's: | Once hath God spoken, twice have I heard this, that strength [belongeth] unto God. | God hath spoken once, Twice have I heard this, That power belongeth unto God. |
| Psalms 62:12 | Also to you, Lord, belongs lovingkindness, For you reward every man according to his work. Psalm 63 A Psalm by David, when he was in the desert of Judah. | And mercy, O Lord, is yours, for you give to every man the reward of his work. | And unto thee, O Lord, [belongeth] loving-kindness; for *thou* renderest to every man according to his work. | Also unto thee, O Lord, belongeth lovingkindness; For thou renderest to every man according to his work. Psalm 63 A Psalm of David when he was in the wilderness of Judah. |
