| 1st-Corinthians 12:1 | Now concerning spiritual gifts, brothers, I don't want you to be ignorant. | But about the things of the spirit, my brothers, it is not right for you to be without teaching. | But concerning spiritual [manifestations], brethren, I do not wish you to be ignorant. | Now concerning spiritual things, my brethren, I would not have you ignorant. |
| 1st-Corinthians 12:2 | You know that when you were Gentiles, you were led away to those mute idols, however you might be led. | You are conscious that when you were Gentiles, in whatever way you were guided, you went after images without voice or power. | Ye know that when ye were [of the] nations [ye were] led away to dumb idols, in whatever way ye might be led. | You know that when you were heathens, you went to dumb idols, according as you were led. |
| 1st-Corinthians 12:3 | Therefore I make known to you that no man speaking by God's Spirit says, "Jesus is accursed."
