1st-Corinthians 12:1Now concerning spiritual gifts, brothers, I don't want you to be ignorant.But about the things of the spirit, my brothers, it is not right for you to be without teaching.But concerning spiritual [manifestations], brethren, I do not wish you to be ignorant.Now concerning spiritual things, my brethren, I would not have you ignorant.
1st-Corinthians 12:2You know that when you were Gentiles, you were led away to those mute idols, however you might be led.You are conscious that when you were Gentiles, in whatever way you were guided, you went after images without voice or power.Ye know that when ye were [of the] nations [ye were] led away to dumb idols, in whatever way ye might be led.You know that when you were heathens, you went to dumb idols, according as you were led.
1st-Corinthians 12:3Therefore I make known to you that no man speaking by God's Spirit says, "Jesus is accursed." No one can say, "Jesus is Lord," but by the Holy Spirit.So it is my desire for you to be clear about this; that no one is able to say by the Spirit of God that Jesus is cursed; and no one is able to say that Jesus is Lord, but by the Holy Spirit.I give you therefore to know, that no one, speaking in [the power of the] Spirit of God, says, Curse [on] Jesus; and no one can say, Lord Jesus, unless in [the power of the] Holy Spirit.Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man, speaking by the Spirit of God, saith Anathema to Jesus. And no man can say the Lord Jesus, but by the Holy Ghost.
1st-Corinthians 12:4Now there are various kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit.Now there are different qualities given to men, but the same Spirit.But there are distinctions of gifts, but the same Spirit;Now there are diversities of graces, but the same Spirit;
1st-Corinthians 12:5There are various kinds of service, and the same Lord.And there are different sorts of servants, but the same Lord.and there are distinctions of services, and the same Lord;And there are diversities of ministries, but the same Lord;
1st-Corinthians 12:6There are various kinds of workings, but the same God, who works all things in all.And there are different operations, but the same God, who is working all things in all.and there are distinctions of operations, but the same God who operates all things in all.And there are diversities of operations, but the same God, who worketh all in all.
1st-Corinthians 12:7But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the profit of all.But to every man some form of the Spirit's working is given for the common good.But to each the manifestation of the Spirit is given for profit.And the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man unto profit.
1st-Corinthians 12:8For to one is given through the Spirit the word of wisdom, and to another the word of knowledge, according to the same Spirit;For to one are given words of wisdom through the Spirit; and to another words of knowledge through the same Spirit:For to one, by the Spirit, is given [the] word of wisdom; and to another [the] word of knowledge, according to the same Spirit;To one indeed, by the Spirit, is given the word of wisdom: and to another, the word of knowledge, according to the same Spirit;
1st-Corinthians 12:9to another faith, by the same Spirit; and to another gifts of healings, by the same Spirit;To another faith in the same Spirit; and to another the power of taking away disease, by the one Spirit;and to a different one faith, in [the power of] the same Spirit; and to another gifts of healing in [the power of] the same Spirit;To another, faith in the same spirit; to another, the grace of healing in one Spirit;
1st-Corinthians 12:10and to another workings of miracles; and to another prophecy; and to another discerning of spirits; to another different kinds of languages; and to another the interpretation of languages.And to another the power of working wonders; and to another the prophet's word; and to another the power of testing spirits; to another different sorts of tongues; and to another the power of making clear the sense of the tongues:and to another operations of miracles; and to another prophecy; and to another discerning of spirits; and to a different one kinds of tongues; and to another interpretation of tongues.To another, the working of miracles; to another, prophecy; to another, the discerning of spirits; to another, diverse kinds of tongues; to another, interpretation of speeches.
1st-Corinthians 12:11But the one and the same Spirit works all of these, distributing to each one separately as he desires.But all these are the operations of the one and the same Spirit, giving to every man separately as his pleasure is.But all these things operates the one and the same Spirit, dividing to each in particular according as he pleases.But all these things one and the same Spirit worketh, dividing to every one according as he will.
1st-Corinthians 12:12For as the body is one, and has many members, and all the members of the body, being many, are one body; so also is Christ.For as the body is one, and has a number of parts, and all the parts make one body, so is Christ.For even as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of the body, being many, are one body, so also [is] the Christ.For as the body is one, and hath many members; and all the members of the body, whereas they are many, yet are one body, so also is Christ.
1st-Corinthians 12:13For in one Spirit were we all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether bond or free; and were all made to drink into one Spirit.For through the baptism of the one Spirit we were all formed into one body, Jews or Greeks, servants or free men, and were all made full of the same Spirit.For also in [the power of] one Spirit *we* have all been baptised into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether bondmen or free, and have all been given to drink of one Spirit.For in one Spirit were we all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Gentiles, whether bond or free; and in one Spirit we have all been made to drink.
1st-Corinthians 12:14For the body is not one member, but many.For the body is not one part, but a number of parts.For also the body is not one member but many.For the body also is not one member, but many.
1st-Corinthians 12:15If the foot would say, "Because I'm not the hand, I'm not part of the body," it is not therefore not part of the body.If the foot says, Because I am not the hand, I am not a part of the body; it is no less a part of the body.If the foot say, Because I am not a hand I am not of the body, is it on account of this not indeed of the body?If the foot should say, because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body ?
1st-Corinthians 12:16If the ear would say, "Because I'm not the eye, I'm not part of the body," it's not therefore not part of the body.And if the ear says, Because I am not the eye, I am not a part of the body; it is a part of the body all the same.And if the ear say, Because I am not an eye I am not of the body, is it on account of this not indeed of the body?And if the ear should say, because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body ?
1st-Corinthians 12:17If the whole body were an eye, where would the hearing be? If the whole were hearing, where would the smelling be?If all the body was an eye, where would be the hearing? if all was hearing, where would be the smelling?If the whole body [were] an eye, where the hearing? if all hearing, where the smelling?If the whole body were the eye, where would be the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where would be the smelling?
1st-Corinthians 12:18But now God has set the members, each one of them, in the body, just as he desired.But now God has put every one of the parts in the body as it was pleasing to him.But now God has set the members, each one of them in the body, according as it has pleased [him].But now God hath set the members every one of them in the body as it hath pleased him.
1st-Corinthians 12:19If they were all one member, where would the body be?And if they were all one part, where would the body be?But if all were one member, where the body?And if they all were one member, where would be the body?
1st-Corinthians 12:20But now they are many members, but one body.But now they are all different parts, but one body.But now the members [are] many, and the body one.But now there are many members indeed, yet one body.
1st-Corinthians 12:21The eye can't tell the hand, "I have no need for you," or again the head to the feet, "I have no need for you."And the eye may not say to the hand, I have no need of you: or again the head to the feet, I have no need of you.The eye cannot say to the hand, I have not need of thee; or again, the head to the feet, I have not need of you.And the eye cannot say to the hand: I need not thy help; nor again the head to the feet: I have no need of you.
1st-Corinthians 12:22No, much rather, those members of the body which seem to be weaker are necessary.No, those parts which seem to be feeble are the more necessary;But much rather, the members of the body which seem to be weaker are necessary;Yea, much more those that seem to be the more feeble members of the body, are more necessary.
1st-Corinthians 12:23Those parts of the body which we think to be less honorable, on those we bestow more abundant honor; and our unpresentable parts have more abundant propriety;And to those parts of the body which seem to have less honour we give all the more honour; and to those parts of the body which are a cause of shame to us we give the greater respect;and those [parts] of the body which we esteem to be the more void of honour, these we clothe with more abundant honour; and our uncomely [parts] have more abundant comeliness;And such as we think to be the less honourable members of the body, about these we put more abundant honour; and those that are our uncomely parts, have more abundant comeliness.
1st-Corinthians 12:24whereas our presentable parts have no such need. But God composed the body together, giving more abundant honor to the inferior part,But those parts of the body which are beautiful have no need of such care: and so the body has been joined together by God in such a way as to give more honour to those parts which had need of it;but our comely [parts] have not need. But God has tempered the body together, having given more abundant honour to [the part] that lacked;But our comely parts have no need: but God hath tempered the body together, giving to that which wanted the more abundant honour,
1st-Corinthians 12:25that there should be no division in the body, but that the members should have the same care for one another.So that there might be no division in the body; but all the parts might have the same care for one another.that there might be no division in the body, but that the members might have the same concern one for another.That there might be no schism in the body; but the members might be mutually careful one for another.
1st-Corinthians 12:26When one member suffers, all the members suffer with it. Or when one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it.And if there is pain in one part of the body, all the parts will be feeling it; or if one part is honoured, all the parts will be glad.And if one member suffer, all the members suffer with [it]; and if one member be glorified, all the members rejoice with [it].And if one member suffer any thing, all the members suffer with it; or if one member glory, all the members rejoice with it.
1st-Corinthians 12:27Now you are the body of Christ, and members individually.Now you are the body of Christ, and every one of you the separate parts of it.Now *ye* are Christ's body, and members in particular.Now you are the body of Christ, and members of member.
1st-Corinthians 12:28God has set some in the assembly, first apostles, secondly prophets, thirdly teachers, then miracle workers, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, and various kinds of languages.And God has put some in the church, first, Apostles; second, prophets; third, teachers; then those with wonder-working powers, then those with the power of taking away disease, helpers, wise guides, users of strange tongues.And God has set certain in the assembly: first, apostles; secondly, prophets; thirdly, teachers; then miraculous powers; then gifts of healings; helps; governments; kinds of tongues.And God indeed hath set some in the church; first apostles, secondly prophets, thirdly doctors; after that miracles; then the graces of healing, helps, governments, kinds of tongues, interpretations of speeches.
1st-Corinthians 12:29Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Are all miracle workers?Are all Apostles? are all prophets? are all teachers? have all the power of working wonders?[Are] all apostles? [are] all prophets? [are] all teachers? [are] all [in possession of] miraculous powers?Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all doctors?
1st-Corinthians 12:30Do all have gifts of healings? Do all speak with various languages? Do all interpret?Are all able to take away disease? have all the power of tongues? are all able to give their sense?have all gifts of healings? do all speak with tongues? do all interpret?Are all workers of miracles? Have all the grace of healing? Do all speak with tongues? Do all interpret?
1st-Corinthians 12:31But desire earnestly the best gifts. Moreover, I show a most excellent way to you.But let your desires be turned to the more important things given by the Spirit. And now I am pointing out to you an even better way.But desire earnestly the greater gifts, and yet shew I unto you a way of more surpassing excellence.But be zealous for the better gifts. And I shew unto you yet a more excellent way.
