| Psalms 70:1 | Hurry, God, to deliver me. Come quickly to help me, Yahweh. | <To the chief music-maker. Of David. | Psalms 70:2 | Let them be put to shame and confounded who seek my soul. Let those who desire my ruin be turned back in disgrace. | Let those who go after my soul have shame and trouble; let those who have evil designs against me be turned back and made foolish. | deliver me in thy justice, and rescue me. Incline thy ear unto me, and save me. | Let them be put to shame and confounded That seek after my soul: Let them be turned backward and brought to dishonor That delight in my hurt. |
