Psalms 60:3You have shown your people hard things. You have made us drink the wine that makes us stagger. You have made the people see hard times; you have given us the wine of shaking for our drink. To thee have I cried from the ends of the earth: when my heart was in anguish, thou hast exalted me on a rock. Thou hast conducted me;Thou hast shewn thy people hard things; thou hast made us to drink the wine of bewilderment.
Psalms 60:4You have given a banner to those who fear you, That it may be displayed because of the truth. Selah.Give a safe place to those who have fear of you, where they may go in flight from before the bow. (Selah.)for thou hast been my hope; a tower of strength against the face of the enemy.Thou hast given a banner to them that fear thee, that it may be displayed because of the truth, (Selah,)
Psalms 60:5So that your beloved may be delivered, Save with your right hand, and answer us.So that your loved ones may be made safe, let your right hand be my salvation, and give me an answer. In thy tabernacle I shall dwell for ever: I shall be protected under the covert of thy wings. That thy beloved ones may be delivered. Save with thy right hand, and answer me.
Psalms 60:6God has spoken from his sanctuary: "I will triumph. I will divide Shechem, And measure out the valley of Succoth.God has said in his holy place, I will be glad: I will make a division of Shechem, and the valley of Succoth will be measured out.For thou, my God, hast heard my prayer: thou hast given an inheritance to them that fear thy name.God hath spoken in his holiness: I will exult, I will divide Shechem, and mete out the valley of Succoth.
Psalms 60:7Gilead is mine, and Manasseh is mine. Ephraim also is the defense of my head. Psalms 60:8Moab is my wash basin. I will throw my shoe on Edom. Psalms 60:9Who will bring me into the strong city? Who has led me to Edom?Who will take me into the strong town? who will be my guide into Edom?So will I sing a psalm to thy name for ever and ever: that I may pay my vows from day to day.Who will bring me into the strong city? who will lead me unto Edom?
Psalms 60:10Haven't you, God, rejected us? You don't go out, with our armies, God.Have not you put us away, O God? and you have not gone out with our armies.[Wilt] not thou, O God, who didst cast us off? and didst not go forth, O God, with our armies?
