| Psalms 26:1 | Judge me, Yahweh, for I have walked in my integrity. I have trusted also in Yahweh without wavering. | <Of David.> O Lord, be my judge, for my behaviour has been upright: I have put my faith in the Lord, I am not in danger of slipping. | The psalm of David before he was anointed. The Lord is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear? The Lord is the protector of my life: of whom shall I be afraid? | Judge me, O LORD; for I have walked in mine integrity: I have trusted also in the LORD; therefore I shall not slide. |

Try my heart and my mind. | Put me in the scales, O Lord, so that I may be tested; let the fire make clean my thoughts and my heart. | Whilst the wicked draw near against me, to eat my flesh.
