| Psalms 81:1 | Sing aloud to God, our strength! Make a joyful noise to the God of Jacob! | <To the chief music-maker; put to the Gittith. Of Asaph.> Make a song to God our strength: make a glad cry to the God of Jacob. | A psalm for Asaph. God hath stood in the congregation of gods: and being in the midst of them he judgeth gods. | To the chief Musician upon Gittith, A Psalm of Asaph. Sing aloud to God our strength: make a joyful noise to the God of Jacob. |
| Psalms 81:2 | Raise a song, and bring here the tambourine, The pleasant lyre with the harp. | Take up the melody, playing on an instrument of music, even on corded instruments. | How long will you judge unjustly: and accept the persons of the wicked? | Take a psalm, and bring hither the timbrel, the pleasant harp with the psaltery. |
| Psalms 81:3 | Blow the trumpet at the New Moon, At the full moon, on our feast day. | Let the horn be sounded in the time of the new moon, at the full moon, on our holy feast-day: | Judge for the needy and fatherless: do justice to the humble and the poor. | Blow the trumpet in the new moon, in the time appointed, on our solemn feast day. |
